I think discussing strategy in private is a fantastic idea. But I've never heard of this "email". And frankly, it sounds made up.

For strategy talks we could all become members of a chat-room (e.g. TAS') and just go to a private one and chat ... Is that a possibility?

Ahhmmm. The TAS server belongs to a BORG - no good idea, we do not want to be assimilated ... so any other chat place? :Q

Sure, if you want. I'm on staff on an IRC network, and can easily make a channel for us.

Join #protium and tell me who you are, and I'll let you in (with a pre-established PM with the name you intend to use).

I've created the channel (#anandtech), and it is currently set to invite only.

BTW, I'm Ronin, Ronin`, and RoninXPS.

Wouldn't it be slightly easier to create a private room in some forum rather than use IRC so that we don't all have to be on at the same time? Or is that not how IRC works (I've never used it before so bare with me).
