Configure your client to use one of the specially configured TeAm queues (such as mine in my sig), make sure it's not running, and go through and edit all the version.sah files for each work unit, removing the obselete_version line in each.
Once you have that done, you should be able to send/recieve properly 🙂
 
I tried your proxy, Coolkid. I also tried Wiz's and any others listed in this thread. None would allow me to connect using SetiDriver or even just opening the client by itself. Currently there isn't anything at all in any of the SetiDriver numbered folders, so no version.sah files to edit.

I think a zipped folder would be a good way to go if you're willing to do that, BespinReactorShaft. I don't use the email listed in my profile but the forums wouldn't let me enter the one I actually use. You can send the file to me at fardringle@hotmail.com. 🙂
 
I believe you need the correct 'user_info.sah' file before you can download from a Q. Sounds like you got it worked out though with the preconfigured zip.

Seems that SETI have turned off the ability to setup user_info so SETIQs pass through doesn't work

I still have some results, haven't been able to transmit them since the 15th. Not going through a queue or anything, any idea what might be wrong?

Using Seti Driver?
If yours is like mine then the results are going in, look at your individual stats then hit Transmit & watch the stats. Or wait until it finishes another WU then look at your stats again, the number should go up by one.

The message in the response from the server is causing SD to behave badly.

I've got 20 ready to offload on my offline rig, but they'll have to wait till I get off work in 8 hours time or so. But by then you guys might've already beaten me to 10k. :thumbsup::shocked:

This was really an effort. Reminds me of an old saying, "When the going gets tough, the tough get going!". :beer:
 
There was a slight outage this afternoon when my five-year-old somehow managed to corrupt the BIOS and it took me a while to figure out how to fix it, but my Sempron 64 running at 2Ghz has been actively crunching SETI all day (thanks to BRS for a working copy of user_info.sah 😉) and seems to be putting out about 10-12 WU's per day on average so far. It's not nearly the type of support I could provide if I had been able to get out to a remote office with 22 fast machines in it to put SETI up there, but I'll do what I can to help push us over the 10K goal. 🙂

Yes, actually she is, and she's not at all ashamed to remind us of it every chance she gets... She is very proficient at computer usage (she shows my mother-in-law how to use her computer whenever we are visiting their house), reads at nearly a second-grade level, and is doing first grade math (basic addition, subtraction and multiplication). She's a very bright and creative kid, but she's also a major troublemaker and loves to try and figure out how things work (like her dad 😉) even if - or especially if - it means breaking something to do it (also like her dad 😛).

Yeah, I've been lucky to never have corrupted the BIOS, other than trying to do BIOS updates, I thought it is pretty hard to do. She try to do a BIOS upgrade for you? 😉
