This is just too crazy.

My SETI Driver seems to be partly working after using Wiz's queue. Now there are some stubborn WU's refusing to get uploaded, so I guess I'll have to manually purge those naughty ones first before going any further. 😛

My thanks in advance to whomever's carrying on with this venture. I know I am. 😛

ok - moving some more WU's - I see another sub Q now for BRS - wonder why it makes multiple Q's for one client...

Says now Berkeley is accepting results until the 22nd, so i'm still crunching for BRS as long as i can get WUs. I'm also still draining the WUs i had built up in my own caches. Should last me till then.

Just added a heap of WU's to my queue that I had saved for a time just like this 😀
Also worked out to prevent the SETIQueue passing on the "obsolete_version" flag, which will allow everyone to send/recieve WU's and not have to worry about your clients choking up.
For those that want to do the same thing, edit the "UserInfo.sah" file in your "User.xxxxxx" directory (for every user), and change the following values:
status=0
message=
quit=0

After doing that, set the file to read only and you should be right 😀

Everyone feel free to grab as many WU as they want from my queue, as I have plenty to spare now 🙂
Just send me a PM if you are connecting as a different user (ie, not BRS), and I'll do the above for you.

Cool! 🙂 ,I'll see how that works,I've added to the message😉

Btw when you delete the message does it show up straight away in the sub Q info?

Spacehead
Where do you see that about the 22nd?

It probably wont until the queue reads that file again. Forcing a restart of the queue should do it 🙂

I think WIZ has already tapped in but anyone is welcomed to the over 3,000 WUs remaining in the TeAm Enterprise SetiQueue.

HOST: smokeball.dns2go.com
PORT: 5517

Connection Type: WinINet Direct

I think the Q will lose its DNS connection in the next 10 - 14 days. :Q

connect to my Q @

Q.gygabyte.com port 80

Lets kick this thing into gear - I just switched over the following two:

3.4ghz HT P4 1 Gig Ram
3.8ghz HT P4 3 Gigs Ram

That should be good for a few WU's / day... 😉

I just got my new Sempron 64 online this afternoon (replaced a dead Barton 3200). It's going through burn-in tests tonight while I'm at work but I can crank up the Seti Classic client in the morning and let it run until Berkeley stops accepting results if one of the still active queues will allow me to swipe some WU's. 🙂

And as I found out, if you forget to do that then SETIQ will change it back again!😛

Btw my SD seems to of fixed itself on my main rig🙂

I've bumped up my 2nd rig from 2.1GHz > 2.13GHz ,that'll make a whopping difference😛 lol.I might try 2.16GHz too.

Try CoolKids Q ,he's got over 1000 WUs for BRS ! lol 😀

CK
You've got over 5k WUs for your account!:Q lol sure you've got enough? 😉

I see results aren't being dropped anymore😕

Haha, yeah thats the account I downloaded the WU's with initially, so I'm just moving them into the other queues as needed 🙂

I got my new Sempron system up and running at 2.0GHz (max FSB the motherboard will do) and tried to get SETI running on it for BRS but none of the queue servers listed in this thread would allow me to connect (CLI just closes itself when I try to enter in BRS's email address). Any ideas what I can do to get it running to help make the last push to 10K before Berkeley stops accepting results on Wednesday?

Are you using SETI Driver? I had the same problem but it was solved once I used Wiz's proxy server.

In the worst case, I can simply zip up my SETI Driver folder and email it to you so that you can unpack and run it directly with everything preconfigured.
