ryu vs ken

I liked Ken more, but I would win more with Ryu because Ken's dragon uppercut with fierce punch always left me too vulnerable. Other then that, I'm an old school player that uses 80% light punch and light kick.

Come back to the real world, please. Ryu doesn't love you. Ken thinks your teh ghey. <---forget about the voices in your head.

Ryu may be quicker, but Ken has da POWA!!~

Isn't it Ken with the quickness and Ryu with the power? I know ryu's fireball was stronger while Ken's dragon uppercut was stronger.

Hm... I thought Ryu is slower, but more solid and less mistake-prone. Ken is more powerful indeed but many of his moves have flaws of being too vulnerable afterwards. If you're the long-range kind of guy, you'd go with Ryu because it's hard to go wrong with him, and Ken tends to be the close-contact type, and it's usually more fun to use.

I like Ken's speed even though his hits don't do as much damage as Ryu. I'm also a dragon punch guy and the flaming is just too cool.

you are too old to know what we are talkin about, btw blanka was the best

I'd say Ryu's jumping roundhouse followed by ducking roundhouse is pretty friggin powerful, takes 40% chunk from Ken's powerbar. But if you play combo after combo, Ken's the better guy, imo.

Akuma's third level combo was just unreal. I think it was something like LP+LP+LK+HP and he moves, grabs you, 13 hits and you are on the ground. Game over 😀
