Are they changing the layout to RWD for the upcoming TL?
No, but I'd still place it in second place 😛 I could care less if a car is RWD or FWD 😉
If I was buying a car with any sort of power, I really don't think I could bring myself to get something that was FWD when there are so many great RWD and AWD choices available.

Well, considering that the TL will at least have a HP rating as high as the 6-speed Accord (although, it'll more than likely be higher), that amount of power is fine for me 😉
I didn't say the TL won't have plenty of power. The problem is that it's FWD.

I agree....a sport sedan is NOT a sport sedan if it is fwd!:disgust:😱

i saw the blue one yesterday.. omg. doesnt even have plates yet.

yes i'd like to, he is still here, maybe i can kick him and then take his keys.

also i'd take the cts over the is300. the is 300 is just so small and uncool . maybe i am anti toyota. my mom drives and rx and i think its a pile of dump.
anyone else think that after matrix ii the cts looks more appealing?

IS300
330i
G35
C320
CTS

I'd take the G35, then the IS300, then the 330i. The 330i may be the benchmark, but I can't overlook the cheaper "copies" 😀 The CTS and C320 don't even register on my radar.

why in the world would you get an is300 over a 330i?

1) I love the looks of the IS300
2) I could get an IS300 5-speed with leather and sport package for roughly $29,500

You can get it fully loaded for 31,500 including nav, lsd, etc... the works.

A fully loaded 330i would be close to 40k G35c would be like 34k ish ... I'm guessin the bens would be the same as the BMW and I wouldn't even want a CTS .

WRX S...

Oh.. No AWD. 😛

The Infiniti G35 is pure sex...

mmmmm if I had $30k, I'd buy that car in a heartbeat.

However, I have always been fond of BMWs.

G35, 330, IS300, C320, CTS.

G35 needs no explanation.
330, I liked the old headlights better, but it's a fine looking car nonetheless. Just too expensive.
IS300, not too fond of, but it's better than the MB and GM.
C320, would never look at, but if forced to, would pick one over the CTS.
CTS, look is somewhat growing on me, but still :frown:

Funny how the GM fanboys are going for the CTS 😛

G35. If the 330i was the same price as the G35, then my choice would be the 330i.

But due to the G35's very competitive price, its the clear winner. 95% of the performance at 10k cheaper price!

Also the G35 coupe looks better than the 330i. I don't like the new headlamps on the 3-series. I liked the older one much better.

Oh, I thought it was coupes...wait there is no IS300/CTS coupe...me dumb ass

Oh well, due to price, the G35 still stands the winner.

Bah, if it was AWD the S4 and the Evo 8 FQ300 would be my alternative choices. After reading the article about the FQ300, the new STi just sounds like a WRX with Brembos...

Back on topic... I'd prolly pick an IS300 from the used market with the manual and use the remaining money to mod the sucker with a nice turbo setup. aka the Ferengi Overclocker approach!

Last time I drove the IS300, I liked it a lot... much better than anything else in the segment at the time. I haven't driven a G35 to compare but I liked the IS over the 325i for sure... more power from the 330i prolly wouldn't do much for me. I do prefer the front end styling of the IS over the G35 as well.

Plus the IS has been around for long enough for people to kinda have most of the bugs worked out of it. The G35 is still a tad new to be messing around with at this point. One of the cofounders of HKS drives his wildly modded Altezza to work everyday... so I know there's stuff that works for the platform.
