Still qualifies for Commie. Even Russians aren't Commie anymore.

You would like that. Joe McCarthy would inter you.
Red!
Of course Russians ain't commies anymore; they're fascists which is why Putin makes the American conservative's tongue hard.

Of course Russians ain't commies anymore; they're fascists which is why Putin makes the American conservative's tongue hard.

The problem with all this has a generational dimension. Six years ago, I met a young 22 year old in the smog-test TV-lounge and engaged in conversation in which I raised the topic of the Cold War. The name McNamara was unknown to her. She replied "Cold War? When was that? Oh, I remember! We were fighting the Columnists!"

I also remember the little newsletter from Cardinal Spellman (a citizen CIA asset with the Catholic TIME LIFE founders Henry and Clare Luce). I got one on my desk every week in the 6th grade. "Ngo Dinh Diem is such a Great Man! A Great Man!"

You have to trace it back further. The history of Russia has been defined by Authoritarianism for 1,000 years or more. They turned back horrific invasions: Napoleon and then the Wehrmacht. You have to understand the roots of Russian nationalism.

So you're going to find elements of fascism, and the rest of it spans Peter the Great, the Romanovs and the Bolsheviks, and the ascendancy and re-ascendancy of Putin. The problem with the Russian public is only worsened by the problem of the Russian State suppressing Russian media. They haven't had time in any pluralistic setting to evolve beyond the naïve.

When is the CIA and FBI going to Congress with their findings instead of going to the media? Wouldn't that help challenge the legitimacy of Trump's presidency?

Congress will have their own investigation and will be using the CIA, FBI and private companies information on the subject.

what will be your response when Congress simply confirms what every else is already saying?

we knew the Russians were hacking our election system back in the summer, yet here you continue to deny the obvious.

If a foreign entity was really involved and they really wanted to challenge the legitimacy of Trumps presidency they should have worked with Congress not WaPo from the start.

why did James Comey go to the media instead of Congress ten days before the election regarding Hillary's e-mails that amounting to absolutely nothing, except to further the public's trust of her?

reality is things don't work the way you think they do and you are trying to oversimplify things.

From what I understand, Comey sent a letter to Congressman Chavetz who then made it public rather then FBI telling WaPo in a private discussion.

if that is the case, then you just proved your original point to be, well, absolutely pointless. if Congresscritters are going to leak what the FBI and CIA communicates to them, what is the point of going to Congress instead of the media?

Comey and Chavetz should both be out of their jobs.

re: Initial OP - "Russian Hacking (You People are Idiots)"

Speaking of hacking,
probably partly why Iran demanded $400M from Obama as partial reparation.

first installment of a $1.7 billion settlement resolving claims at an international tribunal at The Hague over a failed arms deal under the time of the Shah.

Where is your source saying $400m was for destroying Irans centrifuges?

If Russia sent a nuclear missile to us but it failed to detonate, would that not be an act of war?

I create a thread specifically to point attention to the attack that Russia has laid upon the US government as a whole so that it can be set apart from the one which has degenerated into partisan attacks.

Not only has it quickly degenerated into the same thread, but I am being attacked as if it were my intent.

Not only that, but you have missed the main point entirely. My suspicion is that the intended consequence of these attacks was to amplify the effect of Americans fighting Americans.

Is anyone interested in seeing the behavior in this thread from that lens? If you do, then you would realize that the nuclear missile hit its target precisely.
Oh noes, the Russians sent some truth to the American public. This aggression will not stand, man. The ignorant mass must stay uninformed.

At least the Russians stop short at training and arming an anti-government group, and actively pushing for a 'regime change' in a foreign country as Hillary did. But I guess you are perfectly fine with those.

Traitor. Here they are. Waving the American flag right in front of us. There are generals and leaders in the past of this country that would hang a dude like you.

No we aren't. I hope they succeed because I have a lot to lose if you retards mess everything up.

WTF? The Russians (and many, many others (including the UK and USA)) have been spying and trying to gain influence on other countries for many years.

Suddenly we have an interconnected world and an unexpected election result and its impossible that they are doing it anymore?

Yet the real reason Clinton lost is because people who voted for Obama in 2008/2012 chose not to vote this election.

You're missing the point in your defense of your candidate.

It matters if someone is trying to influence your system even if the guy you wanted to win won.

It matters if someone is trying to influence your system even if the guy who should have won won.

Saying that it didn't happen just because your guy won is asking for trouble down the line.
