So now that CANADA beats the weakest team in the Olympics like everyone else beat them you think they are on par? I don't know, its tempting....

Canada actually beat Belarus 7 to 1.

That makes little difference, though.

I propose that we bet 100 Seti WU's on the outcome, much like Michael's challenge to Russ.. If Canada wins, which they will, you crunch 100 WU's for me. If by some miracle the US team wins, I'll crunch 100 WU's for you.

I grew up in Montreal (Brossard, actually), but I live in California now so I'll have to skip the party at your place. I am watching the game, though!

My almost 5-year old daughter is a hoot. She told me during the US-Canada women's final that she can't lose because she's 1/2 of each.

Why would any of us USA'ers be upset if Canada took the Gold? I remember when my little sister won a Spelling Bee. I was very proud of her. I would feel the same toward Canada...... 🙂

Well, it's really not fair, Canada wins either way. I suspect all of our players are Canadian emigrees. You know, the only ones from up there that could pass the entrance exam at the border.....



Joking aside, I don't know squat about hockey, but I've never allowed my ignorance to get in the way of talking smack 😛. I did watch the US/Russia game, and it seems hard to believe anyone could beat the team that played the first two periods. But I suspect Canada may beat the team 7-0 that played the last period.

What a dilema! My heritage is French Canadian, but am living and breathing the Detroit Red Wings for god knows how long since growing up a Michigander, now I'm stuck in Okielahoma USA... ahh heck, GO CANADA!!!!!!! 😎😎
