Since Russ appears to be hiding behind a "I was taking a shot at the Olympics as a whole and don't want to stand behind my country's team attitude", I'll take a 100 WU bet from someone else who thinks Team USA will beat Team Canada in the Hockey finals. I say Canada wins the gold. Any takers?

My voice is raw right now from screaming eveytime Canada scored. My wife was amazed. She's never seen me in full on hockey fan mode before. Plus I won 100 Wu's. Not a bad day, eh?

I want to congratulate you American fans who stuck with your team...we might make real hockey fans out of you yet! 😛

The third period had me ready to scream (who am I kidding, I never really stopped screaming). The US was coming on so strong it looked like they were going to tie the game for sure. Before that, I almost broke the coffee table when Lemieux missed that WIDE open net. All in all the game lived up to expectations: it was the best game of hockey played in the last 2 decades. I'm glad the best team won, and the second best team goes away with a shiny silver medal.

Downtown Montreal was party central tonight. It was great until people started trashing busses. Happens every time we win a big hockey game. If any of you are wondering why the Habs aren't the powerhouse they once were, it's simply because they're not allowed to win anymore. 😉

Right now all I care about is that Canada won!!! Maybe tomorrow the fact that I'll be getting 500 free WUs will hit me. 😀
