I wouldn't. Aside from possibly conflicting with each other, it'll thrash the disk while they decide on which gets to access what. I'd schedule a task to scan on different days with different products while I was asleep, so I didn't have to see it.

Cept when I shut down a system---I never hibernate even---I then pull the surge strip from the wall.
I think I got greedy re "hurry up'. Also thought throttling might not be an issue with the i7 chip.
I will go on running one at a time. I was only asking about malware scans, Norton does everything by itself invisibly, ongoing: updates, scans, logs....I just clear the logs every coupla days.
But my concern was runing malware scans. Back in the day I had paid for versions of both MBAM abnd Superanti, meaning I could run both in real time, and I did, briefly, until I felt maybe this is not a good idea. I emailed Superanti, they were fabulous, and they said, yes, you should choose only one of us to run in real time to preclude conflicts.
So, I am clear on that, I just wasn't re simultaneous scans.
