"rumor" I just saw on X about Tim Walz

These are beyond serious allegations, it sounds like typical MAGA bullshit to drum up hate, out of curiosity I Googled to try and see where the rumor started. And nothing came up, there were a few hundred MAGA replies already saying how he needs to be punished and they had a feeling about him. 1 even replied they know it was a boy because something something something about Walz being gay himself.

I'd never heard of the guy who posted it, but Googling him surprise surprise he's a Republican from NV. I see nonsense rumors spread all the time on X by MAGAs so that's nothing new, but this one's especially bad. And it has over a million views and has been reposted over 8,000 times. My rule of thumb, if I hear a rumor, I Google it. If not a single thing comes up it has to be bullshit, that seems easy to understand. But the MAGAts are foaming at the mouth over a rumor with zero basis. I replied that's there no proof, and questioned people who instantly run with what's clearly a made up story and a friendly neighborhood MAGA replied calling me a Pedo lol. The post he quoted with the allegations sounds like a MAGA fantasy.

I believe in free speech, to a point, so I won't lock this, BUT, OP, please question the advisability of giving oxygen, and therefore some measure of credibility, to an obviously false rumor. Your ZERO POINT infraction is just to get your attention.
