Probably more hot air, but it does explain why Nvidia has been dragging its ass getting mid-range GTX6xx series out the door: they didn't really have anything good to match up against the downwardly priced 7950 or the 7870. The GK107 is just too damn slow and no amount of clock speed adjustment would make it competitive.
And so a third GK104 sku.
I am patiently waiting for their $200 dollar part.
