That's why you need to have one of these attached to your car.

I can see it now...
(SUV Full of unruly kids cuts you off)
You: "Oh no you didn't bitch!"
(You press a button which pops out that minigun from your car and let it fire for a second or two, unleashing thousands of rounds)
Problem Solved.

Yeah it is plus it's not such a small percentage!

As much as I don't want to admit it Red Dawn is right. I'm in the age group of people turning 16 now and everyone gets their car and just sees how fast they can floor it and dumb sh!t like that.

But I don't think the double standard (Females are equal and get a way younger legal driving age?) is right. I think it should stay the way it is with extremely harsh punishments for 16-20 year old drivers on most any traffic offences.

Alberta, Canada, as of May 20, will be enacting such a thing. You get a probationary liscence at 16 with fewer allowed demerits, ANY alcohol in system is liscence suspension, etc. I think its a step in the right direction.

I'm 17, and yes, I've squacked the tires and what not, but I mean I'm a responsible driver, I've never went past 75mph in my life (ok so maybe it was 80mph on the interstate)

Anyways, just because there are some arrogent assholes doesn't mean everyone should lose the ability. I think people need to take an attitude test to get a license too..

If you have a Cell Phone, call 911, that's what it's for. They could have caused a bad accident if someone had lost control of their car during something like that. If not, ram them off the road and drive away laughing.

Another cheer for the police today! It isn't worth their time until someone gets seriously injured or killed, apparently.

In fact the other night I was driving with my father, girlfriend, and I and I changed lanes and this SUV came out of nowhere blazing his horn at me. He drove really fast and caught up to my side window and there were a bunch of young kids probably in their late teens eyeing me out and just trying to stir up trouble. It makes me wish I was > 18 again.

you wish you were over 18 again?

If the driving age was to be raised, it should be raised across the board...none of this male/female difference. I got my restricted/permit license in April of 2000, and my full license (and car) last August. Haven't got a ticket & haven't had an accident (came fairly close when someone was *backing up* on NW 39th Ave..major road in Gainesville)..

Ban cell phones & increase test requirements..that would help a bit.

Situations like this are why I do not own a hand gun. I would not be able to restrain myself unfortunately.

really did not want to mess with these kids. They stopped their vehicle on a busy three lane road. i couldn't believe my own eyes. being an international student is really tough sometimes. :(

I would be writing a letter to the chief of police right now. THAT is a bullsh!t response. where do you live btw?

Oh comeon red, you know no one ever got anywhere with reactionary legislation. I agree that many 18 year olds (16 as well) drive recklessly (my self included, more so when I first got my car, not often now that I have realized one that it is dangerous, and two my car has to last me a while) however, I don't buy into this theory that girls are less prone to get in accidents, no matter what "studies" show. I knew this one girl who on the first day of having her permig (15 year old restricted license) got into 2 wrecks, the first one only banged up the bumper, the second one totalled the car. she has since gone through 2 other cars. More girls at my school have gotten into wrecks than guys. I think it is more a function of, girls getting in more trivial wrecks, but when a guy gets into a wreck, they don't exactly walk away on their own.

I can say that I did come crazy sh!t when I was 16-18 and driving. I am now 23. I can say with autority that drivers licences should be as Red Dawn said, "18 and over".

If someone did that to me, I would be like Minendo, and put a dent in their truck/suv with my zuk.

I think you can take them to small claims court for the damages. But I would talk to the police again because they did attack you...

I am going to talk to the police again. I know for sure that they will take the complaint but won't do anything.

I have the color, make, model and license plate number of the car. Should I write down what happened to me on a piece of paper, make copies and post them at the five schools in that area, walmart, and target? hehehe:D I don't have anything to do this weekend.:)

I am all for raising the driving age, but females are 10x more shitty drivers than males.

next time don't honk. What do you want police to do, go and talk to the owner of the car? He will say he has no idea what you are talking about end of the story
