I was taking a turn and this truck/SUV cuts infront of me and just missed my car. The driver should have yielded the way to me, but instead took a right turn and merged into the first lane from the third lane. I honked at him and the people(aged 17-18) in the car showed me the finger. Then the driver drove parallel to me and started throwing rocks. One rock just missed my wife and hit the car.

Then they started calling me names and were very abusive. Motha#@@#@. Do not Fu@# with us. etc . , etc., I got their license plate number and drove down to the nearest police station which was five miles away. :disgust: I talked to this cop at the police station who says that they got their hands full and can take the complaint but probably won't do anything. I just walked away. I wanted atleast their parents to know what kind of kids they are raising. :(

Now... as sad as I am when I hear some kid driving his daddy's SUV flipped it and got him/his friends killed... I also realize that probably was NOT the first time they were driving dangerously/wrecklessly/etc.

Just be a defensive driver and remember that what you are seeing may end up just a puddle of blood on the highway eventually. Sad, but when they live my the sword, they die by it too.

Start carrying a fake badge around, flash it, and make them wish they hadn't fvcked with an "off duty officer." They'll piss their pants.

It's sad that police officers actually told you that they have their hands full. Man I don't know what to say except that I've been in that exact situation. In fact the other night I was driving with my father, girlfriend, and I and I changed lanes and this SUV came out of nowhere blazing his horn at me. He drove really fast and caught up to my side window and there were a bunch of young kids probably in their late teens eyeing me out and just trying to stir up trouble. It makes me wish I was > 18 again.

No you don't. Those are the kids who are memorialized by all those flowers and crosses by the roadside. Break their parents hearts by being arrogant idiots.

Be glad you are past that now.

That's why I don't honk at people when they do stupid stuff! Besides, I make mistakes too every once in a while, so I just let it go.

I would contact the police again since they attacked you and your vehicle (yes technically they did attack you right?) Plus damage to your vehicle, sounds like they could receive criminal charges and repair fees for your car. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like you have any evidence against them.

really did not want to mess with these kids. They stopped their vehicle on a busy three lane road. i couldn't believe my own eyes. :(

They looked like rocks to me. Thanks to them, my car has a dent now.

So, you are trying to tell us that your car has a dent now and the cops won't do anything about it? I doubt it. You could have filed a report against them if you wanted to.

Another reason to raise the driving age to 18 so these Monkey Dick Punks don't put the lives of people worth breathing air in peril. 16 for females and 21 for males would be perfect.

Tsk, raising the age limit to 18 because of a small percentage of the population is not a good way of solving the problem. Instead, I would impose much harsher punishment for something like this. Also, I would feel completely justified in using a weapon (a gun) to damage their car after that.

Yeah it is plus it's not such a small percentage!
