RTCW 2

I really enjoyed RTCW MP, was probably my 2nd favorite behind SoF2 MP which happened to be developed by Raven as well. I actually thought they went under, good to see they're still around and will definitely have to check this out.

Sure, the original RTCW had an organic /feel/, and even though the plot was far fetched, I found it believable. That quick teaser has a sci-fi look to it, and feels more space age, than WWII Germany. Of course that's just based off of a few seconds of footage, so it's really hard to tell. I'll be buying it regardless, I just hope it isn't a let down.

I loved, and still play, RTCW so I don't think we'll be disappointed by the sequel at all. What engine will it be using? UT3?🙂

I would guess Doom3 since that's Id's tech. Maybe Doom3 with some enhancements.

I've been having a ball playing RTCW again. My daughter enjoys watching me play it. I forgot I had the Nude Elites mod installed though, so all the Elites are missing clothes :^D Oh well, I guess she knows what a naked woman looks like already :^P

That looks a bit better than D00M III. DX10? Hope so.
At any rate I'll be totally chuffed if this is anywhere near as good as RTCW.
When I originally played RTCW I wasn't expecting zombies or monsters at all and ended up having an unexpected blast. Obviously the MP was great as well.

Though she might wonder why her dad is killing a bunch of naked women...and why they are rolling around on the ground so much.

The topless only mod was much classier 😉

Amen. I'm still playing enemy territory on an active clan😀. I can't stop playing it, the multiplayer is too addicting. I hope that rtcw 2 will have the same style of gameplay that rtcw had.

Man, I wish they'd do a true successor to ET with this engine... QW is fun, but I just don't seem to enjoy it as much as ET.

Yeah, RTCW/ET was multiplayer FPS perfection IMO. I'd probably be playing it right now if they the game were actually supported and if every server weren't running their own specific mod and maps.

I thougth they were using IDTECH5, which is the next gen engine passed the Doom3 engine.. So yea, RTCW will look much better.

i loved RTCW but not so much when they moved onto ET. RTCW with OLTL mod was some of the best multiplayer experience i've ever had. am i excited about the new RTCW? not so much, by the screenshots it looks like more of the same, rehash with better graphics. i can care less about single player modes frankly.

ohh man oltl was fun. oltl shrub was fun too early on. Play dead 🙂 was the best.
