a bad mis-shift will totally f*k up your valves, they get totally bent out and the repair costs can be insane. usually you need to get a valve adjustment, but i've heard of guys who've straight blown the engine at less than 100 mi. on the rsx. >>
Do you mean with the RSX engine in general, or all engines?...
overrevving like that can bend your valves? lol.. How? lol.. That seems strange to me.
The weakest link in an engine is the connecting rod, you're much more likely to throw one(or two..) from redlining it than anything else...
You shouldn't ever near the redline while you're driving. It's pointless, all you're going to do is wear your engine out faster.. heh
Btw, both of those videos suck compared to that guy doin 220 on the motorcycle.. 😀
