- Mass Effect 2 has the same "multiple choice answers" as Dragon Age, so it seems questionable to list that as a major flaw in DA when you also state you loved ME2. If it's the combat system (turn based RPG vs. real time shooter) that is the real differentiator then I would suggest you aren't looking for a RPG as much as you are looking for a shooter with RPG characteristrics ala ME2. Borderlands is a really good shooter with RPG underpinnings if you can find a friend to play it with.
- You don't need to pause Dragon Age to be very successful on normal difficulty with any class and group makeup. The key is to figure out the tactics system and with a little effort you can work out a pretty good tactics system for every role in the game besides perhaps rDPS AoE damage. Google "Dragon Age tactics" + class for examples.
- There's nothing wrong with being hard to please but calling a game bad simply because you don't personally like it is silly. Anybody who has played as many games as the people on this subforum have should be able to tell the difference between a game that they don't simply don't enjoy and a bad game.
