George Soros is behind this dastardly deed. More details to follow at InfoWars. Buy your fluoride shield now to prevent the liberal mind control rays.

Are you trying to be cute? If you actually read the response you linked, you'll see: "There are exceptions, however, where costs are allocated to the losing side under certain circumstances. The exceptions vary by state and also by the type of case."

It’s generally if the lawsuit is judged to be frivolous or brought in bad faith. From my understanding getting attorneys fees is pretty unlikely.

Reading comprehension is a wonderful thing.😀

PS I have a 4.0 GPA in my law studies.😛

I suspect as much, even if there is some statue that might allow it here. I didn't really ask just out of curiosity -- more an expression of discontent that his buffoonery may be legitimized by our court system at serious taxpayer cost.

The reasons given for this court challenge are nothing short of incredible:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...b9dc92-e403-11e7-ab50-621fe0588340_story.html

1. There are "rumors" of election fraud, including a viral youtube video.
2. Moore has passed a "polygraph test" about the sexual misconduct allegations.
3. Turnout in dem areas was a couple points higher than usual, and apparently this cannot be.
4. Moore under-performed past republicans by a lot, and apparently this too cannot be.
5. Moore submitted affidavits from two cranks calling themselves "experts" supporting his claim of voter fraud. Here is a description of the "experts":

The experts came to the case with baggage of their own. James Condit Jr., one of the election analysts who signed an affidavit on behalf of Moore’s campaign, has written and spoken about “Zionist” control of world politics, and alleged an Israeli role in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Richard Charnin, who provided the court with an argument that there was just enough possible fraud to swing the election, claimed to have “mathematically” proven a conspiracy behind the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

Moore should be sanctioned (fined) by the court for filing a frivolous court action and wasting the taxpayers' money.

Moore is a case of herpes for the republicans. He just sort of flares up from time to time only to recede and hope you forget about him. Most people are ashamed to admit he's part of you with a few exceptions that wear him as a badge of honor.

The fact that this guy was once (twice!) chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court is nothing short of mind boggling.

holy shit, batshit crazy lady on cnn right now defending roy moore saying there was widespread voter fraud. unbelievable that these people are being given the time of day to spew bullshit all over the place now.

Moore's God has spoken to him with his embarrassing loss to the Demonic Democrat.

Why oh why is he now not listening to the very deity that he relied on, that he previously had faith in during his run-up for the Senate seat? He ran as an shining example of his faith, a religious bulwark of his community and state. He wore his religion on his sleeve.....both of them even. He touted his religious credentials as a shield against the numerous sex abuse accusations that somehow appeared like a bolt of lightning out of clear skies. And at the moment he needed his God's backing the most, He wasn't there. Gee, I wonder why?

His God spoke to him loud and clear but he chooses to defy, to resist what should be clear to him and his supporters: Hypocrisy is not tolerated in their faith, nor is the corrupting and deceptive use of one's faith in an effort to exploit it for political advantage.

Is Roy Moore now a pariah or a martyr? Oddly enough, it seems to depend not so much on how one determines the measure of faith and fidelity in a man but whether he is a Democrat or Republican first and foremost.

Saw this on reddit. Roy Moore supporters are basically faced with this at the moment:

I don't know about everyone else, but this year has disturbingly opened my eyes to the idea that a number of powerful people in the world do not have intact reality testing.

The circus came to town a long time ago. As disturbing as this process has been not one second of it has been unique or worse than what came before it.

His behavior is definitely a parallel to trump except in Trump's case he won. Is this how Trump will act if he "god willing" does not get re elected?

even worse, imagine if he does actually get impeached and removed from office? he'll be ranting like the lunatic he is.
