Doesn't it say something about the standards set by the Bush administration that his supporters are excited by the fact that his senior advisor wasn't indicted? Unfortunately this is probably the best news for the Bush administration so far this year, nearly halfway through. You're doing a hell of a job, Bushie!

Actually it says little about any standards set by Bush. I could personally give a rip if Rove frys or not. What gives me endless satisfaction and amusement are the dashed hopes and dreams of the liberati.

This news replaced the foam dripping from your mouths with delicious castor oil..........its medicinal application is just what the liberati needs!

Actually, I was quite indifferent to his indictment or lack thereof.

What is exciting is seeing the frothy-mouthed leftists in a stunned/weepy silence. All that buildup, endless basement keyboard pounding and unhealthy fantasizing, and they are left so unfulfilled.:brokenheart:

Very different from the Saddam capture which also was quite exciting. The frothy-mouthed leftists dissapointment at that was just a secondarily entertaining.

Edit: ahahah Corn - we simul-posted the same thoughts, even down to foam/froth! Great minds think alike :D

I'm not so sure it's a reflection on Bush supporters.

After months... nay... YEARS of listening to the left drone on and on about how Rove is a traitor and should be tried for treason and hung from a yard-arm and drawn and quartered and on and on and on and on... constantly bashing down anyone who stood up and said "hey waitaminute... was there really a crime here? Did Rove do anything wrong here?"............. It's just nice to be able to say "I told you so"

I don't care if they're dems or repubs really--I would just like to see more egalitarianism in the justice system. For example, the enron execs--they were found guilty yet they are allowed to stay out of jail on appeal--that doesn't happen with ordinary citizens.

Yeah same here.

I wonder when (aka National Guard story) we'll start hearing about the Jason Leopold article:

"Well the article was false but the story was true!!"

Because of course, many of these people are so convinced of their correctness which is then reinforced in echo-chambers like this forum that they cannot concieve of the possibility that they may be wholly wrong.

They're not out on appeal. They're out pending sentencing.

Wrong-O, at least IMO. It seems to me you're clearly boasting and gleeful over the fact that Rove will allegedly not be indicted (to this point the only source for this is his own attorney, Robert Luskin, who previously indicated he had been told Rove wasn't even the subject of the Grand Jury investigation). Assuming Luskin is right (you guys are certainly taking his word as gold), this isn't news, since he said in April Rove wasn't even the target of a GJ investigation. You might as well gleefully announce that President Bush and VP Cheney haven't been indicted (they presumably weren't targets of the GJ either).

For a person who spends so much time whining about the "hate" of the "far left," you're behaving in an awfully childish way simply because one of your party's most evil partisans hasn't been indicted by a Grand Jury that was never empaneled to investigate him. I expect it from Corn, slightly less so from you.

Ah well - you can lead a man to the library but you can't make him read.

Why would you assume something that I have stated is not true? Are you saying I'm a liar? That's more Steeplebot/******'s game. I didn't even know who Rove was until this whole Plame thing started.

Again, I could care less about Rove. My lack of history posting in Rove/Plame threads (do a search) would support this. If memory serves me, I doubt you'll find any supportive statements ever by my about Rove.

If Rove had been indicted, my lack of excitement would have been the reverse (all the happy dances from the leftists would have equally repulsed me). The inability of some to separate the "person" from the "issue" is why I can't stand any extremist.

edit: I did a search. Search archives for "Rove", pages and pages of posts. Search for "alchemize" and "Rove", one post (making fun of Moonbeam).

My god you are such a drama queen. I see no boasting anywhere....except from the liberati when Rove was supposedly a lock going to prison. Your blind hatred leads to you see things that just don't exist. Your hatred is evidenced by the clearly personal stake you have in the outcome Rove's involvement that you even now are in complete denial of its inevitable outcome!

I couldn't possibly be more amused than I am right now. It has nothing to do with Rove and everything to do with you.......

Funny, same results searching for "Rove" and my handle. Here's my only invocation of Rove's name posted to this forum:

Better a drama queen than a complete jackass - I am at worst only a partial jackass!

BTW, the "liberati" stuff is tired - time to grab a new buzzword from Ann Coulter. This week's hot pick is "witches of East Brunswick."

When did I accuse you of being a liar? I only accused you of boasting, which you were clearly doing. I guess Corn was wrong about who's the drama queen!

I see several different words containing all manner of different letters.....but they all sound out like "wah".

However, a point of clarification is in order because evidently your short term memory sucks badly. Here's what you said:

It seems to me you're clearly boasting and gleeful over the fact that Rove will allegedly not be indicted.....

As I clearly pointed out, my glee has nothing to do with Rove........

Shhhhhhh - the grownups are talking.

You're not above the fray and your hypocritical criticism of other's supposed childish behavior rings predictably hollow.......and with that I leave this supposed "grownup" discussion to the supposed and tearful grownups.

Sooooooo does that mean you think Zendari is a meaningful contributor here? I for one am completely comfortable with my remark to him. He deserved to be banned the first two times he joined here, and he deserves to be banned again.

I went on hiatus for several years.
