Rounded IDE cables

Thanks. Shipping is kinda high, 7.25 for 4 cables, but the price is still good. I was shopping for some of these last night. They wanted $10 each at compusa and $12 each at bestbuy.

anyone know anything about the quality of these cables?

edit: and also, are these normal ide cables? or cable select ones? the tags on it that say slave and master make me think they're cable select.

master/slave is regular IDE. The jumpers on the back will be M, S, OR CS for Master, Slave, or Cable Select.

edit: Also, a cable select cable will work for master/slave setups. A regular cable will NOT work for cable select setups. A master/slave setup will ignore the CSEL signal which is on pin 28 (of 40).

they had this deal a while back and then changed it to floppies only adn didnt read clearly so i ordered 3 floppy cables.

anyway they are all good quality!

not bad price, the surge protectors are cheap at 95c.

nearly bought some of those and an acryllic notebook cooler, but the shipping just pushed it too high

thanks to the pm anyway

Hmm, these are a little over $2 at svc.com, but at svc you can pick different colors and if you're in San Jose you can also pick them up and save on shipping. SVC is like 1 or 2 miles from where I work, so I might swing by to check it out today or tomorrow.

Awesome deal!! I got in on 15 of those puppies since my brother and I are both building systems.

Nice Find!!

errr...they look like they're the same. MAYBE the SVC one is slightly thinner. Could be wrong tho. Picked up a couple of these and the surge protector. Could use a couple extra outlets.
