When playing roulette, I always place a chip on the previous number hit. This seems to be a decent way to make a few chips now and again. If you walk around a casino and look at the play history on the roulette tables, you're more than likely to see a couple with repeating numbers back to back.

Just something I do regardless of my other bets on the roulette table. I prefer early morning $0.25, $0.50, or $1.00 roulette. The minimum bets are usually more than I'll pay once people start arriving at the casino.

i do this too! there's a saying in roulette, "Nothing sweeter than a repeater!"

WRONG!!! Certain duces wild poker have an optimal play expected value of ~101% If you had a computer with you or you were really good at memorizing rules, you could have a long term positive run on this game.

Overall video poker is your best bet in the casino if you have the patience to learn to play it right and know how to shop pay tables.

For length of play you either want to give PaiGow Poker (a table game) a try or 100 play Poker (a video poker game). Generally you can play for a very long time without losing much money on either of these games.

um..you CANNOT use a computer while playing the games. You CANNOT sit at video poker and use a Palm Pilot. You are not allowed to use any computerized aid. (You can, however, have paper charts in front of you for any game.)

$20 will last longer at the nickel full pay dueces wild (max bet = $0.25/hand) than at the penny 100play (max bet = $5/hand) not only because it costs less, but FPDW has a higher return than ANY 100play machine in Vegas.

I realize that. I guess I was just trying to justify why casinos allow >100% games on the floor. Although the odds are in your favor, it is way too hard for anyone to properly take advantage of that. Even the best players will generally average 98-99% on that game.

Well of course you'll see repeaters if you look around. 1 in 38 spins is a repeater (statistically). Notice that your payback is only 35:1. You are losing money with this "system". About the only thing it does is makes you feel like you've somehow outsmarted the game which makes you more likely to bet.

You will also notice if you look around that you'll see the number 6 has hit recently on one of the tables. Does that mean you should always bet 6? Not at all. Always betting 6 is no better than betting repeaters.

I'm not making a living on my roulette skills. Just trying to give advice that might help prolong the experience. It seems to keep me in the game a bit longer so I can get some more drinks.

Playing penny video poker (1 game at a time just betting 1 penny) is the best bet if all u want is free drinks at minimum cost.
