Strategy:

start lighting cigars with your money; more enjoyment can be had from the looks you'll get than from throwing it away on the roulette table. you might pick up some james bond-esque women too.

or like lewis black says: take all your money, change it in to quarters.... starting throwing them in the toilet, and flushing it... every once in a while it will back up and youll feel like a winner!!

Read here to learn all you ever wanted to know about roulette. It isn't a bad game to play and you will have better odds if you can find a single zero table to play at.

There is no way to beat the game. If you cover more numbers you will win more often but the winnings will be smaller. If you put your entire bet on one number you will win less often, but your win will be significantly better.

It all boils down to how volitile of a play experience you want. If you want to play it safe then bet red/black, or bet each coin on multiple numbers. If you want a lot of risk with the potential to win big, then pick a number and bet on it.

I love roullette... I love seeing that huge stack of chips coming your way. You can last for a while with $100. Do whatever you can to always get some chips back. You also need to start with a pretty big bank roll so you can bet as many numbers as possible.

Also, if you never see a number hit, some people might start to think the number will hit eventually. it never does. don't fall into that trap.

They can be very difficult to find, and are generally at higher minimum bet tables.

Take a look here:

The Tropicana
The Monte Carlo
The Stratosphere
Mandalay Bay
Venetian
Aladdin
Luxor
Nevada Palace

back when casino-on-net was in it's heydey, they did a roulette promo where 0 and 7 (for 007 bond) payed double for 2 hours on a certain day (you knew the hours). We hit that place up and robbed it dry. I think they paid out a couple million.

I suppose I should do my duty as a mathematician and warn you away from doing that. It doesn't work and when you lose it will wipe you out. About all it will do is make the people who know better laugh at you.

There is no such thing as a betting system that works to beat casino games. I should know, I design them for a living.

In all honesty the best bet you can do is to walk in to a casino once and place all your money on to the highest return game you can find once and never ever bet anything again. If you win, you win big. If you lose, you lose.

i know the black/red double system can be is for suckers, but i have used it many times and won... i have also lost though. and ive lost big trying to cover bets...

i usually only take 155$ and make 5$ bets.... that way i bet 5$, 10$, 20$, 40$, then 80$... that means I have to call the wrong color 5 times in a row to lose... statistically you should be able to win at least one of the bets about 98% of the time (this is assuming its a 50/50 chance, even tough it isnt b/c of the 2 greens)

The stratosphere has 1or2 one zero roulette tables. I love roulette even though the odds aren't as good as 21 or paigow.
My advice is to pick up if you can a little cardboard "cheatsheet" of the wheel i.e. with all the numbers etc.
both variations of the wheels have standard placement of the colors/numbers. For me, I would pick a block of 4 or 5 numbers along the wheel and place chips on those. If the ball cames near my section, I have a better chance of hitting the number than say playing random numbers.
I will be honest and admit that I look at the play history. I am a sucker for that even though each spin is independent of each other. HOWEVER, this is not always true. The spinner is almost always bored out of her mind. She hates her minimum wage job. So who cares. She may generally spin the ball with the same strength. If you have a particular wheel sections memorized or notice that she is consistently hitting a general area of the wheel - bet there.

----
There are absolutely no guarantees to this system. I take no responsibilities if you win or lose using this common technique. I have lost and won big doing this but I never know WTF because it is all luck. Everyone has a system to beating the casinos. Of course, VEGAS was not built on the backs of winners.

This reasoning is exactly why is is a sucker bet. In the end you still lose, and when you do it hits you hard.

But if you like it, who am I to argue....
