Sit down and talk with your brother man. Tell him you don't like it when his girl is there but he isn't.

If he throws a fit then tell him if she's going to sit around without him there then you're upping his rent for all the stuff she uses.

If he continues to throw a fit tell him he needs to find another place to live.

Wait, how does she get inside when your brother isn't there? She doesn't have a key does she? 😕
Otherwise jsut don't let her in.😀

I don't know if she has a key or not honestly. She says she doesn't, but the spare key is missing.. Hmmm.

My brother has a door to the patio in his room, and he never locks it, so even if I locked the front and back doors, it wouldn't matter anyway...

I'm not going to go in his room and lock his door every day.. The solution is obviously to talk about it, I just don't want to seem like an ass.. but it's ridiculous.

Edit: I guess I could put a padlock on the gate to the back yard.. LOL.

Why not just lock her out of the 2/3rd of the house she doesn't belong in? Does she have a job? Is she there more than 50% of her 'off' time...tell your brother that it is tough times, you don't have the money to keep paying for her so you are only going to start paying 1/2 of the rent.

its your brother... do you really have to post on a forum for advice before talking to your own brother!?

It was a rant.

As a couple living together you should not have a roommate it is unfair to the third wheel, ask him to leave for his own sake.

I have never seen a situation where living with a couple doesn't cause problems.

Why do you care so much about looking like a shit stirrer? Are you scared of your brother? I can't believe you have let this go on this long without saying anything.

oh and pics of fiancee 🙂

We had a very similar situation in our flat last year. 4 people lived in the house but one guy's GF was over ALL OF THE TIME, regardless of whether he was there. But she was an awesome chick and was basically one of the lads, so we didn't care. We just got wasted with her 4 days a week and stared at her tits.

I'm sorry OP but this is retarded. This is a classic case of "please everyone" until you explode. You lay down groundrules. Dont sit there considering if its drama. What the fuck is that about? Its your home. Make rules. If you plan on having kids you better get over the whole not wanting to be the bad guy shpeal.

Fixed!

Should? Fuck should. It's your place. Make it known.

The obvious overlooked solution:
Take pics and post them here.
Trust me, you don't want them.
So tell your brother to get a hotter girlfriend. Preferably one that is "free spirited".

WIN/WIN

Your brother sounds like one smooth cat. By smooth, I mean whipped and by cat, I mean simp.

No way I'd one of my roommates ugly girlfriends hang around the house all day when he wasn't home. Let alone some chick that wasn't even a girlfriend yet.

If I were you, I'd keep the conversation short and simple.

"You bro, you need to tell your ugly girl that she can't be staying here all the time when you're not around."
"Why?"
"Because if you don't, I will. And chances are, I won't be as nice about it as you would."

If he really pushes for "why" then you can go into all the reasons, but anyone with a modicum of sense and respect should immediately know they're out of pocket. He's wrong for so many reasons, it's not even worth typing them all out.

If you aren't going to just man up and talk to him about the situation, might I suggest a conversation along these lines?

"Hey bro, me and my girl have been talking about a 3sum, and we figure since your girl is here without you all the time it might as well be her. You got a problem with that?"

He should get the hint, and if he actually objects then you have an opening to discuss your real issues.

Just walk up to her a say is eli gonna have to choke a bitch ?

I think this wins for sure.

I LOL'd.

And to everyone saying "grow some balls" etc, it's not like that. Yes, I try and keep the peace.. I have to, I have to fucking live with him.

It's not technically my house, when we both moved in we were single and signed the lease equally. Though I am going to bring up the fact that my fiancee and I pay 2/3rds of things as of now.

It was just a rant, and this type of situation is quite common with roommates.. one of the downsides.
