Believe it or not, women are pigs.

QFMFT
or not.

Experience has taught me it is so.

Of course you aren't though mosh, everyone here knows you are perfect in every single way.
well, we have that in common.

No, i'm sure we have absolutely nothing in common.
Being your polar opposite would be a good thing.

The feeling is mutual.
Thank you Captain Obvious.

I've only met one girl who wasn't a pig. The ones I generally know are average to very messy. I hate the messy ones.

Girls do smell nice, but there are some really stinky ones too. UGH

Depends on the person

Me too. First female roomate: Was a fat cow, alcoholic, drug abuser, and a pig (Didn't know this until after). One thing I remember was she had left her door open to her room once. When I went to close the door since I was so disgusted at the mess, I noticed a pair of her panties on the floor with blood all over it. I mean, come on, put in the hamper, do something with it!

Second female roommate. Was great. Clean, respectful, mature, and always paid her bills on time.

Third roommate was a hippy. I remember coming home from vacation one time to find the toilet plugged to the rim with shit, really really dark shit. She didn't want me to go in there to unclog the toilet, but someone had to, she had no idea how to use a plunger. She rarely did dishes either.

Last female roommate. She had one dog, and two cats. One of the cats loved to pee in my clothes. Would rarely use the box. Dog shedded everywhere and she cleaned maybe once a month - I did the rest. She rarely did dishes as well.

Anyway, my experience. I haven't had a roommate since the last one.

Why? What's wrong with a little physical play every now and then? Society's taboo on sex is so old school ...

You do realize his post has nothing to do with sex being a taboo and everything to do with the situation turning into a complicated mess of a relationship, right?

If you see sex as physical play, then nothing is complicated. It's that simple.

I don't see any problem with it. Anyone can be a disaster, male or female.

This. There are always attachment issues amongst other problems. I used to live with some female roommates and learned this lesson the hard way.

I lived with six females my last year of undergrad (I was the only guy in the house - they teased me about my harem). They were all very "girly", so anything "manly" was my responsibility. I unclogged a lot of toilets, a lot of drains (the Chewbacca comment earlier in the thread is spot on), a lot of sinks. I killed a lot of spiders, trapped the mouse, fixed appliances, fixed computers, hooked up electronics, etc. The upside was that I don't think I ever cooked.

I live with a couple of girls right now, both of whom are old friends. Not a big deal, especially since I'm in the master bedroom w/ my own bathroom. The only issue i've had is that one of the girls is a packrat and loves taking up room in teh fridge with leftovers that she never eats but is too lazy to throw away or forgets it's there.

I live with a female. I admit its probably viewed a little weird by others, but whatever. Or people just assume we're a couple, which we're not, so again, whatever.

How do you live with someone of the opposite gender and not have sex with them?

Pick one that's ugly?

Otherwise you'll be trading her chores for HJs, BJs and ZJs until you're stuck at home every evening doing the dishes and taking out the trash.

I'm going to be living with 2 girls and another guy for at least 1 year starting September, but we're friends so I hope it goes well.

How would it be weird?

No offense, but clear-thinking adults in today's world have no problem with rooming with people of the opposite gender.

Edit: Read rest of thread. There is some seriously high-grade silly in here.

Woman are not more piggish than men - it's individuals, as it always has been. I've known women that were slobs and women that were quite tidy. I myself am male and like to keep a pretty clean home.

Yes, there are some shower issues if she has Major League Hair. Just make sure she knows how to use a plumbing snake, or prorate who buys the Drano accordingly.

Honest to god...:shakes head mournfully:

And that's another thing - living with friends. Be careful. If you room with friends, make sure they're the responsible type that'll have their rent/util money on time and don't steal all your fucking food. It's a lot easier to hardass business-partner type roommates than "friends" if the "friends" don't know how to act like big boys and girls. I learned that lesson the hard way in college. I have roomed with friends since then, but they're the type that take pride in paying their bills punctually, pulling their weight, etc., much like myself.
