I lived with one and ended up hating her. I had to do a lot of her chores and her hair clogged up the shower drain every week. She had really rough periods and was grouchy for two weeks every month. I think it was more of an individual thing, though. Later she moved out and an engaged couple moved into the room. I got along with both of them a lot better.

So has anyone had sex with their roommate and had everything turn out all hunky dory?

What I could not deal with was my shower looking like fucking Chewbacca had just used it every morning.

it could be worse. you could be swimming in a pool looking like f*cking Chewbacca had just used it.

or, in the middle of a turn, finding yourself face to face with Chewbacca.

there's a lot to be said for bikini wax.

the one time i had a non-girlfriend as a room-mate, it was a house with 4 people. me, my brother, and 2 Stanford grad students. the woman was one of the grad students. she was studying chimpanzees with Jane Goodall, something like that.

in the living room there was this enormous Black & White photo of chimpanzees engaging in oral sex. right above the fireplace.

I lived with six females my last year of undergrad (I was the only guy in the house - they teased me about my harem). They were all very "girly", so anything "manly" was my responsibility. I unclogged a lot of toilets, a lot of drains (the Chewbacca comment earlier in the thread is spot on), a lot of sinks. I killed a lot of spiders, trapped the mouse, fixed appliances, fixed computers, hooked up electronics, etc. The upside was that I don't think I ever cooked.

6 cooks, one belly? Lmao.

I've had female roommates in college and they are no different than guys if you treat them that way. If you have some romantic feelings towards them, then it could be trouble. Actually, one semester, I roomed in a house with four rooms and a large den converted into a bedroom, and I had four female roomates. It was interesting, since after a while, I became an adopted "gal" and was non-threatening and they would walk around with just T-shirts and panties on. I didn't think much of it, but my friends who would visit would sh*t in their pants on the sight of seeing a pretty coed come out of her room at 1:00 AM to get a drink and she wouldn't be wearing much. I had a good time and learned a lot about females during that experience. One interesting thing was that females in a enclosed environment tend to fight more than guys in a similar situation. One of my good roomie female buddies told me that "girls are bigger bitches than you realize", and I laughed pretty hard at that. You'd think that guys would get into each other's business and fight, but there is more involved with women it seems.

lmao, awesome x 1000

Yes and kind of?

It was a very temporary housing situation, so it was really more like a couple week fling than sex with roommate...

To be clear, this wasn't someone I co-signed a lease with and we only occupied the same premises for a few months. No one left angry, and I haven't heard from her in years, so I'm assuming it was your standard meaningless want-your-body hookup.

Anyone who's had more than 3 female friends realizes women are far more catty than guys.

Not necessarily a problem, just a gender difference.
