At first I was going to jump on the "my rent is cheaper than your rent" bandwagon, but then I stopped and realized that in some people's circumstances, something like that could be ideal (provided it was a little cheaper than just renting a room somewhere.) I was thinking that my son would love to find something like that near where he's at, particularly if he didn't have to sign a lease & could go month to month. Instead, he's got a YMCA membership so he can go work out (take showers) & lives in his (my) van, with his mattress in the back end, and goes over to the gas station near where he's parked when he has to use the bathroom. Lucky kid.
