Street all the way. He has been DOMINATING in his role and hes freaking 22. (not that age matters) The fact that a 30+ year old veteran in japanese baseball (or any other baseball league) is considerd a rookie is a travesty to the game and MUST be changed.

You do not have to play a full season to be eliminated as ROTY. There are a certain number of games (not exactly sure how many), but Wright cannot be ROTY.

that is correct. you become a potential candidate once the following criteria are met:

-at least 130 at-bats
-at least 50 innings pitched
-at least 45 days on the roster

in 2004, wright came to bat 263 times, thus making 2004 his rookie year.
