Nope, its Ron Paul people who are simply manipulating unscientific polls for their gain as they realize most people are ignorant as to how those polls actually work.

The only thing Ron Paul wins is having the most zealots who have nothing better to do than press numbers on a phone or click links all day.

So you're saying Ron Paul supporters are smart while everyone else is ignorant? Interesting theory there but I think it's not very fair to everyone!

Did you mean that for a different thread? Neither you nor Rainsford posted in this one before this post.

Anyway, I almost fell out of my chair when he said he thinks the market can provide better services than government (true). How he's been a politician for years and still says things like that is quite noteworthy.

He's pretty extreme and thus will never get into office. If republicans nominated them, some would be out of jobs pretty soon and they can't have that.

Many of his ideas are good, though.

Maybe it's time we should start expecting our politicians to be more candid and forthright instead of the current stigma of everyone lying or using double-speak.

I don't know about you but personally I find it disgusting when everyone accepts that our politicians are inherently good liars

Hey look, you and dmcowen674 have found something you two can bond on. Maybe the two of you can make a "We hate Ron Paul" club?

Anyway, I have no idea what you are referring to and don't feel like digging through old threads. Everyone here makes great points that are unanswered and while most of us rational people simply realize things go unnoticed you have to reach for the most extreme possible explanation that they are being explicitly avoided. So please post your great Ron Paul killer point here so we can all join you and dmcowen674's new club.

Well, it's only half a page down, started yesterday, and still has replies from today.

I will even link it for you, since you seem to lack the faculties to get there on your own (or perhaps you fear to admit that you have no counters to our points)Avoided Thread

This has nothing to do with me hating Ron Paul, it has to do with you guys posting FUD and stupidity and not replying to jack sh!t because you know exactly that about the topics you try to discuss. You are nothing more than a mouthpiece of a moron who doesn't know what he's talking about either.

That's exactly what happens. They run away when anybody challenges them on anything. That's because they know nothing about what they post, it's just pre-canned spam bullsh!t.

Many Republicans don't know Rudy is pro-choice, either. If Ron Paul had money, he would be dangerous to the GOP. He's the only candidate that consistently sounds (and has a record) of what used to be called a conservative.

I didn't watch the Democratic debate (don't like any of the candidates) but I did watch the debate last night. I came to the realization that I might have to vote for Hillary. If the House and Senate were comfortably in the hands of the Democrats, I would vote for Ron Paul . . . maybe. He really is the least unqualified of the GOP candidates.

Well yeah,
I've noticed it on Digg and other user-contibution websites. I wonder if he's hired some guerilla marketing firm that recruits people to get the name out there (that is, on the internets). There's no way he'll get on mass media, because he's got virtually 0 support from the masses; it's just random fools that keep spaming about him.

For the record, anyone who believes the stuff he says (case point: "market can provide better services than government ") needs to go back to school and take some economics classes. Public goods are underproduced by the free market and are the epitomy of market failure.

Just because somebody is a moron doesn't mean I hate them. I just think they're a moron. I don't hate you, I just pity your lack of knowledge. I never said these people were a "haxxor", I don't really think they're smart enough to be one. Link is fixed.

Or maybe because his foreign policy is the most far left liberal imaginable. In the polls, Dems will all vote for him. That's support from more than half the people who use the internet.

Wait, I thought the liberals were the evil socialists who want to make the federal gubberment pay for everything from healthcare to wiping our behinds? But now you are revising the liberal label to apply to a man who votes against just about every measure which increases federal government and is opposed to such social programs?

First of all, that's among Republican candidates only. I know among general candidates, you would never vote for Paul before your Authoritarian party candidates.

You'd vote in a poll for Paul, who thought it was important to tell America off over 9-11 in the only few minutes he had, or would you go for real Republicans? Seems obvious to me, venomous spitting at America wins big points with the Democratic base, and so I'm saying he's not leading in a Republican poll among Republican candidates, he's leading in a general poll among Republican candidates. So then it?s self evident who, among Republican candidates, that the Democrats would vote for in a poll.

You're out of touch with reality. Ron Paul represents traditional conservatives better than any other Republican candidate. All the other candidates are happy to see the federal government huge and grow bigger, as they make all these plans to involve the federal government in our lives more and more.

And you're wrong about another thing. I favor Ron Paul over any Democratic candidate hands down. The Democratic candidates is a field full of people who are out-of-touch elitists. At least the Republican group has one good guy in there. I am a registered Democrat though. Is there enough time to switch so I can vote in the Republican primary?

Republicans today aren't conservatives, they are pro-war and economically liberal with your money. Most of the candidates the GOP is trotting out is more of the same sadly.

Go back and look at my past posts toolboy. You'll find pretty quickly that I am far from a neo-con and am more a Republican of bygone years. I am for smaller government, but what Ron Paul preaches and you zealots suck up is sheer stupidity.

Nice attempt at a deflection, well, actually, it wasn't even a good half-arsed attempt.

He doesn't win debates, I could go on that cnn.com site and vote repeatedly. It was pretty easy to do so without being a "leet haxxor" as Lazona keeps saying.

Answer the post in the other thread, that I linked above. Can you? I highly doubt it. Here's another link to the Avoided Thread

Man I was really expecting something crippling to Ron Paul's campaign the way your were hyping up your post in that thread but all you guys can nit pick at is the gold standard Ron Paul suggested ? I replied to that thread but I am really interesting to ask here why that one part of Ron Paul's makes you hate him so much?

Yeah they keep saying that excuse. I guess Ron Paul must be the "hacker's choice", huh? Very very few people actually support Ron Paul, and they're all hackers. Great explanation, sir.

Online polls put Sanjaya in the top 10 in American Idol, that right there should tell you something about online polls.

Heck I barely even watch TV or listen to those kind of radio programs but I couldnt help hear how many people were talking about Sanjaya. But see at least with Sanjaya he got a proportional amount of media coverage for his popularity. Ron Paul however is extremely popular to us regular Joe's but the media continues to ignore him and only bleat on about their little darling candidates McCain Guiliani and Romney.
