Yeah, because Ron Paul who believes in an economic theory that is a joke sure can help with the real issues plaguing our country. And removing civil liberties currently enjoyed by Americans sure is a solution.

I hope that you're joking.

then you should have listed those real reasons why you wouldnt vote for him, instead of just playing the weak race card over and over again.

its getting rather old, and the reason why i said MSM hypnotism working is that this is exactly the attack vector that they want to manipulate the public with, in addition to the media blackout.

I probably will not vote for any of these people. And I definitely wouldn't vote for Gingrich. Is he more of a racist than Ron Paul?

Well, since Ron Paul isn't a racist, yes.

Does that mean you're voting for Obama? Are you another radical Obama supporter like ' First '?

I already listed those reasons multiple times in other topics and probably even this one. These are my reasons to not vote for Ron Paul:

1. He is a racist. He still associates with racists. He has close connections with racists. A Ron Paul presidency would have plenty of racist appointments since these are the types of people that he associates with.
2. He has a ridiculous economic theory that does not associate itself with the real world.
3. He is anti-civil liberties since he believes that the Bill of Rights does not apply against state government.

I don't really care for Obama. Will I vote for him? Well, considering the GOP field, probably, unless I decide to vote for some random third party candidate.

And Ron Paul is a racist. He has too many racist episodes in his history to even be considered. Are you a radical Paul fan?

3. He is anti-civil liberties since he believes that the Bill of Rights does not apply against state government.

He is actually correct, since the Bill of Rights does not explicitly say it applies to the States. An oversight by the writers.

This is why we have what is called the Doctrine of Selective Incorporation. The Supreme Court has to explicitly rule it applies or it does not. Look here, you will be surprised at which parts of the Bill of Rights do not apply to the states. A speedy trial, trial by jury in civil cases, and protection against excessive bail and fines are three examples of things which do not apply to the States. There are more.

If you cannot stand Ron Paul associating with racists, then you should not be able to stand Obama either. Or does everyone forget all the non-sense that went on over his choice of church? Please... this is all fucking non-sense to divert from real issues you fucking lemmings.

Yes, I know about the Constitution. The 14th amendment incorporates portions of the Bill of Rights against the states, at least according to the Supreme Court. Ron Paul believes loony things like the 1st Amendment does not apply to individuals when it comes against state governments. His platform is actually very much in line with anti-segregation and anti-civil rights radical conservatives of the past.

Obama repudiated his pastor. Has Ron Paul thrown his former chief of staff and friend Lew Rockwell under the bus? The issue is that Ron Paul is a racist. I don't think that Obama himself is a racist.

obama isnt a racist, he is an elitist. he cares not the color of your skin as long as the collective public beneath him is getting fucked. that kind of douchebaggery, selfishness, and narcissism transcends all boundaries.

referring to black people as blacks is not racist.

I'm guessing you have an incorrect definition of racist in your head to begin with. Or you're just trolling hard against Dr Paul.

Bump the thread when you find something where he's expressing hate for another race of people or suggesting that his race is superior to that of others.

His newsletters were racist. Only a radical Paul supporter would believe otherwise.

It would be nice to note that the context of what you quoted was the 3rd or 4th time he'd answered the same question, and also had answered them the previous day for the same network.

I hate having to repeat myself once. I can only imagine for a guy leading the polls that he's got a busy schedule and doesn't have time to waste on an interview where they're just going to ask the same question over and over again and pretend he didn't answer it the first time it was asked.

The basics of the situation : You have Ron Paul denying he wrote the stuff. You claim he's lying, yada yada.

The stuff posted above isn't even racist. The first clip posted above about needling is more of an urban myth and is something you'd see your mother forward to all her email contacts if they had the internet back then.

The MLK one.. hell... I bet alot of the anti paul people here think MLK is a socialist liberal and many other choice words. Nothing racist was said. The "hate whitey day" comment while could possibly be in poor taste could be taken in a better context if you read the following statement where he mentions blacks being openly racist against white people on the radio.

But hey... Go watch that " Ron paul caught racist rant" youtube video people have posted here. In the first 20 seconds you can see he's not a racist.

You're not making a convincing case here at all - you sound like someone who is a blind supporter who will distort things to make Paul look better.

The newsletters are racist. On top of that, we have issues not only of Paul's appearing weaselly about them - who wrote them, when he read them etc., and of his not identifying who wrote them, but the simple issue that even if we listen to his current story, he was not competent to allow a regular newsletter of racism under his name he didn't read.

A lot of the stuff sounds very odd to be ghostwritten as well - things like saying 'I had my family trained to use a gun, the animals are coming'.

Not to mention things like references to little known OBGYN magazines. Hmm, sounds like the ghostwriter might have been an OBGYN...I wonder who that could be...

Assuming you're over the age of 20 or 22, do you remember in vivid detail your actions on this day 20 or 22 years ago? What if I put lots of cameras and lights in your face and put you on the record, and on the spot? What is your response?

Kind of a long stretch, plus you guys bash him for being an old fogey. Surely, grandpa may not know that answer off the top of his head. He's not a computer, nor does he have teleprompters with transcripts carefully researched and drafted by some think-tank.

OK Craig.

Let's say Ron Paul wrote that stuff... 20-30 years ago. OK?

Lots of things can change in 20-30 years. Hell, I'm not even 30 years old yet. So yeah, lots can change in that time.

Let's look at recent and current Ron Paul. He's clearly not a racist. In that "Ron Paul caught racist rant !!! " youtube video, he clearly shows that he's not a racist. He's arguing for black people to be treated fair in the justice system... what a racist.

Now. Let's look at New Gingrich. Why isn't anybody calling him a racist? He came out just a couple weeks ago and said the palestinians are an invented race of people. That's some real racist shit.

Go tell somebody that the jews are in invented race or that Israel is an invented country... see how fast you're called a racist or anti semite.

So, that's cool you have some 20-30 year old newsletters which could be seen as borderlines racist by people with a poor definition of what racist means.

But the top touted candidate of the minute has a 2 week old ultra racist statement out in the open, he's taken millions from corporations that have helped send us into a depression, cheats on his wife, lies, cheats, steals... all that.

So you can cling to these 20-30 year old newsletters all you want and Ron Paul still smashes Gingrich.

Maybe, but Ron Paul is an elitist also.

I highly doubt that. If anything hes a HUGE threat to the elitists' tyranny machine. Thus the MSM blackout and preferential 'treatment' he is receiving.

p.s. romney and gingrich are also part of this elitist machine. their corrupt, two-party, fascist tyranny is threatened by Dr. Pauls' status as being the true frontrunner in the 2012 election - and is being smeared and downplayed to the maximum to attempt to circumvent the truth that this guy will bring true hope and change to america.

votes for obama, romney, or gingrich are votes for fascism.

Yep it's all a conspiracy. :sneaky:

Think for a minute, If dems (like those here in the forum) believe that Obama would trash RP in the general, why shouldn't they be doing all they can to get RP the nomination? Of course you will say it's because the dems are really afraid of him (RP).

I'm assuming you never actually read the newsletter if you can make a statement like this. He was what...in his 50s when he made that comment? Your beliefs are set in stone by that age.

He continues to believe that a restaurant owner should have the right to not serve blacks, simply because they are black. He calls this racist attitude "private property rights." He doesn't argue that the restaurant owner should be free of public health inspections - no, it's not a private property right to serve tainted food to the public. It's just a private property right to be as bigoted and racist as Ron Paul is.

You do know this defense... is almost always PROOF of racism/anti-semitism.

"i got a friend who's black/or jewish.. i'm not a racist/anti-semite!!!" lol ... fail.

Massive difference between occasionally talking to someone of a different background and MARRYING one. Let alone raising kids with em. Id say Alex jones is not a Jew hater when he wakes up next to one every day.

he also believes that bad businesses with bad management, and retarded policies should be allowed to fail, and not be the benefactors of any bailout.

lets use your pizza joint as an example. if you had a sign that said no blacks allowed, it would probably offend a lot of people, and people wouldnt want to come to your business, due to that retarded policy.

then they would go to the tv station and do a story about your black-hating business. they will then vote with their wallet, the public will stop being patrons, and you will be soon out of business.

let the hateful people that are stupid enough to stick with a retarded policy hang themselves.

Guess the Civil Rights movement was a waste of time, IYO. Free markets would have worked it all out fine.
