For a while, I thought Roman Polanski was Adrian Brody cause of 'The Pianist'. Don't know why this ass-wipe isn't in jail.

There's a documentary about his case that aired on HBO a while back. There is pretty damning evidence in it that there was substantial misconduct by the judge in charge of the case, possibly others. They even have interviews with the prosecutor where he openly states that there was misconduct.

its called double jeopardy and no it does not fit this case. if there is misconduct then they can do it again.

An appeal? I'm not intimately aware of the details of the case, but the article says he plead guilty. Evidence of misconduct should get him a new trial.

Double Jeopardy might not apply.... That is for if you were tried legitimately and found not guilty, you cannot be tried for the same charges.

They could probably charge him with something else... and try him.... in alot of cases some charges are "held back" just for that reason...
