Their tech demos probably need SLI more than any games that don't already have SLI?

6800U 57fps 6800U SLI 93fps
6800GT 48fps 6800GT SLI 84fps
6600GT 25fps 6600GT SLI 37fps

Those are HUGE gains, I could bench or look up differences on some of the rest, but I think everyone gets the point.

6600gt great card and PVP works..For less than $200 should satisfy anyone 10x7.

i remember someone in this thread saying pvp does not work for 6600gt. can anyone elaborate.

We're all waiting for MS to release a .dll that will allow those who have nV41> GPUs to have discrete hardware acceleration on their GPUs for WMV9 decode.

thanks rollo, i've been eyeballing the bfg 6600gt and i've got $100 in gift cert. at amazon. i had ordered but cancelled. now i might just order it again.

For $200, the 6600GT is it- a VERY good deal.

I was just cruising around Newegg and I see that you can now buy an eVGA 6800 for 244 bucks. With prices on 6800s that low, is there any point in buying a 6600GT for AGP at least?

well if i recall correctly. 6800's don't have pvp working. only 6600's for agp. that is why i'm choosing 6600 over 6800. and i used to have a 6800. currently have a fusion gold watching hdtv right now
