Overturning a ruling made 50 years ago isn’t the same if congress enacted a new federal law

Our congressmen would rather keep their jobs than do their jobs. They got a free out with Roe Vs Wade, because it excused them from actually dealing with the issue directly. We should have had an abortion amendment years ago but every one of those d-bags knows they'd be throwing away their election if they took a real stance and actually voted on something. Or worse, like 90 percent of them abstain, which screams cowardice. I mean, we all know they're basically cowards, but they don't enjoy looking like cowards. This is one hundred percent our fault. We vote for lying lazy assholes who tell us what we wanna hear and now congress is full of wimps. They won't stand up to criminal presidents, they won't pass an abortion bill, they fucked around prosecuting nutjobs who literally attacked them on capitol hill and the nation is getting the message these guys are not worth their paychecks. But they'll still keep electing the bastards, and I'm so tired of it.

We live in a country where the defeated incumbent tried a self-coup and sent a mob to the legislature with the objective of killing the Vice President.
