I like Romney. Maybe he can win the nomination in 2012.

I thought the same thing. Wonder how much he was not actively seeking the VP for that reason.

The Huckster is coming up next, would believe he and Rudy that follows will go even more into attack after a relatively mild Romney covering the economy.

Heaven help us if you guys ever elect that Romney dude as president. Reaganomics, America is the hope of the world... Excuse me while I heave.:frown:

Anyone told him who has been in power the last 8 years, most of which with a friendly Congress, for which he's blaming 'liberals'?

Except everything he's touched financially has turned out pretty well.

"Elite media' mentioned again. These guys have a complex or what?

Dont' suppose you've been following the US media since oh, about 12:15 on last friday.

if not, just take a look at the recent glut of threads around here and you'll get an idea of it.

Mikey is talking about $4 gas, people losing houses and that Americans want "Something to Change" and how they want "Less, not More Government"

Has anyone told these guys that out of the last 8 years, they have had the White house for ALL 8 and the House for 6 of those 8? If they want change, they need a Democrat in the Whitehouse and they want Republicans in the House. Have they mixed up what election this is???

Why so gas can go up to 10 dollars under the pelosi/obama windfall profits tax and no drilling plan.

HAhahahahaha. "Liberal Washington". Only in the modern day Republican party would someone have the balls to call the Washington of the last eight years 'liberal'. I wonder if they even know what the word means, or if they think it's just some sort of euphemism for things they think people don't like. Like if Mitt gets a bad haircut, does he call it a 'liberal haircut'?

Or maybe he's drunk.

Huckster actual does a fairly decent speech. Starting to toss some pretty good zingers at a good pace now too. I did love the comment about Palin and Biden votes received.

Whats wrong with you, buddy? Do you actually believe that? Do you actually think that electing anyone who is pro-drilling is gonna decrease your gas prices? If you are stupid (yes, a spade needs to be called a spade, finally), think about the timelines for these activities and when you expect to get some relief...

It will it and much more. Beats increased prices with the Obama/Pelosi plan. What do you think a "windfall" profit tax will do? Force the oil companies to produce less product to lower its profits. Less supply and higher prices that is the change obama/pelosi want.

So far, and Ghoulianni hasn't spoken yet, I've 9-11, terrorists, radical islamics, rogue nations, etc. All the usual scare tactics. And them saying small government...how big has the government grown under Bush? How big has the deficit grown? You just can't make this stuff up, it's been a freak show election so far.

John McCain helped the Huckster buy a school desk?? WTF is this guy talking about?

John McCain helped buy American freedom? Was US freedom under attack during that war? Did the US win that war?

This is like Orwell's 1984.

PS. Thats the other George, Republicans, and he has not only read a book, he wrote a couple too...

you mean how oil prices won't drop $40 a barrel once the executive ban is lifted?

Good speech from Huck too. I'm glad they've started hitting the "nanny government" talking point.

Nanny government? Are you talking about Bush?

love that comment, huh lupi? Only problem is it's false....you probably loved Cheney's little zinger about never seeing John Edwards before - except that was also a lie.

Big surprise you are a Romney fan - good luck on that 2012 campaign...8 te
So now the GOP strategy is to agree that change is needed in Washington, only they are denying any responsibility for the past years? Thats's a good one.

Also - about all this 'horrible' coverage about Palin- can someone show me a major news story that in any way, shape, or form has demonized her? Are people not supposed to talk about the new candidate from left field?

That desk story was by far one of the best of those type of stump stories I've heard from any of them during this election season. But thanks for going anti americna on us while JP is taking a break.

Under Republicans (in the last 7 years) gas prices have risen 200%...is this the change you want?
