RMA a board last week with Bad memory slots. I am trying not to freak out here, but... I think I forgot to remove the duron 700 that was in the board...

Think mwave will take notice to that? DAMN DAMN DAMN!!



I manage to find the procssesor.
It was wrap up in an antistatic bag in the accesseries box for the plextor Plexter cd-rw I got.
*kicks self* Amazing how things just show up.
 
Well at least you picked a good company to deal with, some of cheaper pricewatch stores would probably give you a hard time.
 
yea if you had a cheap pricewatch store they would probably have pretended not seing it and you would never have seen that poor duron again.
 
While I am sure this does not represent one of your more lucid moments, I have to admit I admire your courage for announcing such stupidity to a group of some 35,000 people. 😀

nah i bet some other people here have done worse things, they are jsut too scared to admit it, jsut call em up, they should know what to do.
 
Wow,sorry to hear about that. First time I have ever heard of anybody doing that though. Did you get in touch with anyone who could possibly help you out? If I were you I would get on that pretty fast because if one of there less honest employees finds that little present you've given to him I don't think he will be admitting to finding it . Unless of course you get in touch with them before it gets there. Well,good luck! I bet you well never do anything like that again. At least you will never admit to it,hehe.
 
I know how you feel

About a month ago Diamond/S3 was having a Viper II trade-in. For a used Viper II that you sent them they sent back a new retail Viper v770 32 MB Ultra. It was a fantastic trade until I realized I sent them my Matrox G400 Max DualHead by mistake.
I contacted them but you know they'll never find it. I just tipped them off on what package to look out for and keep for themselves!!! :disgust:
 
Just call multiwave and let them know that its on there and theyll be expecting it. THat will certainly cut down on the chance of someone geting the funy idea of taking it. btw did you get into contact with them?

They say they wil be looking for it now. If they come accross it, they will ship it back to me. They will also give me a calll back. God this sucks
