you're right, he wasn't a great man. i'm not even sure he was a great politician. if his last name wasn't kennedy, he'd have been the drunk bum on the corner. he has made his entire career off of his family's and, more specifically, his brother's name.
i certainly don't thank him. i curse his (and bush's) name every time my wife starts complaining about how awful teaching has become since his dear "no child left behind" act passed.
i bet he was a blast to party with back in the day, though. :laugh: just don't accept his offer for a ride home.:evil:
