Shocking news and very sad. I am sorry to hear of Denis' passing. Truly one of the old guard of AnandTech.

Sincere condolences to his friends and family.
 
Wow, this is really sad news.

When i joined AnandTech i mostly hung out in the DC forums. Denis was banned then but he was still part of the TeAm & we hung out on another off site forum. Good guy, funny... a bit odd at times but in a good way.
He made a few avatars for me long ago & i'm still using his wallpapers now that i think about it.

He will be missed... RIP friend 🙁

An oddball, a talent and a scoundrel all rolled into one. I've never quite known what to make of denilfloss, for all his shenanigans over the years, but he's a part of internet history and was most definitely an interesting guy to know.

May you know peace, Denis. I wish I knew more song lyrics to give you a proper send off quote.

First time I've been around to see a regular poster leave by passing away. I know the story of his hoax. RIP.
