Looks interesting, and will probably be banned for all except LE personnel (not sure why they always get exemptions for these things).

I'm calling bullshit. Their energy numbers are way off and that video is most definitely not real ballistics gelatin. If the real-world performance was that good they wouldn't need to fake their promo materials.

I think it is an interesting take on ammo... and it is good to see someone attempt to improve on something.

I think it is funny to assume they'll ban these when all they do is kill just like any other ammo. The lethality of these may or may not be any better than a JHP or FMJ for that matter. It makes me remember the ban on "Black Talons". A ban that was based on myth and not reality.

Why would you need this? is dead no good enough?

If these actually prove to have more stopping power then I can see where they would be interesting.

Putting your rounds on target however is more important than the ammo you are using in my opinion. In a high stress situation most are lucky to hit what they shoot with 20% of their shots. This ammo doesn't change that.

Completely agree. All sizzle, no steak. And did I hear correctly....those bullets are CNC machined? I don't even want to guess how much they must cost.

I think I'll order some and put in the safe next to my Black Talon.

That looks awesome. Watching it come out of the balloon in a perfect spiral of shrapnel was badass. When you need it badly and the weird shape causes it to jam in your gun somehow might not be quite so badass.

I highly recommend the demo reel for pure entertainment though.

Is there a trend of people getting shot and not being dead enough?
Wow, I had no idea you hated crippled children so much.
I use my firearms to protect crippled children and if this round stops the bad guys in less shots, the better it is for the children.
Think of the children, asshat.

Handgun rounds are extremely ineffective. IIRC something like 95% of people shot with a handgun survive if they make it to a hospital alive.

However, this gimmicky POS does not do anything to solve that.

I can't help but feel that any regular hollow point would get the job done just fine.

I could see those little pieces being a bitch for the surgeon to have to find and take out.

Black Talons aren't banned, winchester just stopped painting them black. Ranger SXT is the same shit.

I believe the SXT's are better than black talons. Having recovered more than a few from ballistics testing, those edges are actually pretty damned sharp. At least for me, Federal HST was easier to find though, so I have a couple cases of the 147gr stocked up.
