Riovolt SP250 or I-River imp350?

I just bought the SP250 from best buy for $180, but now I see that the I-river slimx imp350 is also $180 online.

Should I take the SP250 back and get the 350 or keep the 250?
I'm not sure that I like the external batteries on the slimx or that the lcd is on the remote, but maybe you can convince me otherwise 🙂
Also, are either of these loud enough to use while cutting grass on a very loud tractor?

Any ideas?

slimx, as for using it with the tractor, noise cancelling headphones is a better solution.

Head on over to head-fi.org, and search on this topic, it's been debated for a while. But from what i remember, most people loved the IRiver, besides the fact that it has a slight hiss. From my experiences with the sp250 however, i found it to be a pretty nice player, although it took a while for it to load.

iriver kicks arse.

the slimx does not have external batteries by default, that is only if you want extended battery life. i found it fine with just the internal batteries. the lcd is on the remote... it's good that way. you don't have to pull the entire player out to change stuff 🙂

and yes, the iriver is plenty loud.
