Riovolt SP250 or I-River imp350?

I just bought the SP250 from best buy for $180, but now I see that the I-river slimx imp350 is also $180 online.

Should I take the SP250 back and get the 350 or keep the 250?
I'm not sure that I like the external batteries on the slimx or that the lcd is on the remote, but maybe you can convince me otherwise
Also, are either of these loud enough to use while cutting grass on a very loud tractor?

Any ideas?

slimx, as for using it with the tractor, noise cancelling headphones is a better solution.

Head on over to head-fi.org, and search on this topic, it's been debated for a while. But from what i remember, most people loved the IRiver, besides the fact that it has a slight hiss. From my experiences with the sp250 however, i found it to be a pretty nice player, although it took a while for it to load.

Get the 350. It's a newer version

iriver kicks arse.

the slimx does not have external batteries by default, that is only if you want extended battery life. i found it fine with just the internal batteries. the lcd is on the remote... it's good that way. you don't have to pull the entire player out to change stuff

and yes, the iriver is plenty loud.
