Right tricep much more defined than left?

There's a tendency to overuse the dominant arm and hand in unilateral lifts. You should work on improving your form.

How do you know that? Do you do isolateral exercises to failure? My tendency is to favor my right (dominant) arm, and I can keep pace for a few sets. If, however, I do sets to failure, then the discrepancy becomes clear. It's not hugely important (unless you care about looks), but it can still hinder your progress.

when i push up the barbell when i bench, they dont tip in one way, and when i do dumbell rows, i can feel they about the same strength.

The left side of my body is slightly bigger then the right. I attribute it to my right side being naturally stronger - so when doing an even barbell lift, the left side is working "harder". As long as your form is good, I wouldn't worry about it.

This, don't worry about piling on the weight super fast anyways. Ligaments and tendons take longer to strengthen and is part of the reason that I hurt everywhere. Just use good form and slowly add weight.

No one's perfectly symmetrical. I do push-ups on a bi-daily basis, and my left tricep is more defined than my right, but my right appears to cover more area on the actual arm. Weird, but I haven't noticed a difference in strength and my form is good (videotaped myself to be sure). Just chalk it up to genetics and check your form.

no one is perfectly symmetrical. if you are examining yourself in the mirror and looking for asymmetry, you are going to find it. unless you have some kind of glaring difference in strength/size, i would just ignore it.

I isolate and my right is slightly more defined than the left. I can also lift a good 5lbs heavier on the right, but I don't. I've been trying to even them out for a long time, but for some reason I just can't really seem to do it with biceps. Triceps have been evened out through isolation... they practically fail at the same time, but biceps... I don't know. Both have gained strength, but the right is able to more than what I have trained it for, where as the left, it can do what I have trained it for.

 Building ligament strength is really, really important and often-ignored.

I wish I knew more about this when I started. Not that I would have necessarily followed the advice. When we all start, we are very eager.

my right testicle hangs lower then the left, what exercises do you guys recommend to achieve symmetry in my lower region?

Like others said, it's common. For example, my right bicep is a lot more defined then my left.

Actually I don't lift weights at all. I just find it disturbing how some people spend their time/energy. Don't get me wrong, I like looking fit and healthy, but it takes it to a whole new level when you are worrying about one tricep being more defined then the other. very sad.

I think being that critical of others is more sad. Symmetry is a goal in bodybuilding, so what's wrong with worrying about it? It's a measure of success and progression. I'm sure some people feel the same way about how much effort you put into things you enjoy .. say, I dunno, OC'ing your C2Q.

I just don't like the whole bodybuilding thing. I cannot understand it at all. Spending a whole bunch of time trying to look big and strong...it doesn't click with me. I prefer just being healthy and having fun.

You do realize that bodybuilding is both fun, and healthy? I can understand that it's not your cup of tea, but being condescending about it is rather foolish.

This is life. My left quad has different definition than my right, my right calf is bigger than left, right bicep bigger, left tricep if anything has more definition. It's iportant to try and deal with it but without a truly concerted effort these things are hard to solve. They are an important part of an elite bodybuilder's routine--making sure that one side doesn't naturally grow larger than the other.

Really, how do you know how he found it out? Was he spending 8 hours straight with a measuring tape or happened to glance in the mirror? I bet he spent about as much time on it as you have in this thread already talking about it.

Bodybuilding on a recreational level will get you pussy. That is a fact. And that's fun. Nobody here is looking to win a state competition. I personally think that BBing on an elite level is a pathetic "sport", but on a recreational level it's an awesome pastime.

I'm not trying to look big and strong, I am big and strong; which is a hell of a lot better then when I wasn't. Now, I'm not even close to the top level of size and strength, but that keeps a person's drive to improve. I see someone's lifts here or at the gym and my natural competitive nature wants to put me at least on the same level.

I used to say exactly what you said when I was skinny and weak. Dunno if I was lying to myself or simply didn't understand the usefulness of extra strength.

People who've never lifted have no way to understand the benefits. A friend of mine told me for a number of years that he had no interest in looking like me, but when he did finally start lifting, he also started getting attention from women. Now he gets it.

It's not just with the opposite sex, either. Everyone is more likely to think highly of you if they find you attractive, and to find you attractive if you're in shape. Fact of life.

I am in shape, and pretty strong actually. I just don't lift for size at all. I just enjoy the strength, speed benefits for the sports I compete in. I also prefer the athletic look rather then the bodybuilder type look.

sorry if I have come off like a dick also, my real issue is mostly with the pro bodybuilding thing, those guys just look retarded!

I'm just curious as to your stats (age, weight, height) and what you lift (squat, deadlift, bench/overhead press). I've met a lot of blissfully naive and arrogant skinny guys that think they're pretty strong, but really can't do much when it comes down to it. I don't mean to say you're arrogant, I am just curious as to what you define as being "pretty strong."
