Late one evening, a man and a his wife were driving their car at speed down a country road. The car spun of the road and hit a tree.

The man decided to seek help at a garage a few miles away.

He made sure nobody was in the car, rolled all the windows up, and locked all of the doors.

When he returned, his wife was dead, and there someone in the car he had never seen before.

No physical damage was done to the car, it was still locked?

How did the woman die?

Where did the stranger come from?

The car was a convertable and the top was down.

This is definitely correct. Wife opened the car door using the keys, locked the doors, gave birth.

Or, she gave birth outside of the car, opened the door, and put the baby inside to protect it.
 
assuming that oyu worded it 100% correctly and did not leave otu a comma, someone else was in ANOTHER car that he had not seen before, and his wife had sucome to death due to injury...sustained during or after the accident.

 
OP is bad at writing out the riddle...but anyways, some people already got it right.

It's either the convertible answer or the wife giving birth answer.

Let me get this straight... the car spun off the road at "speed" and hit a tree, yet there was no physical damage to the car?

Wife gave birth and died during it.

or

Carbon Monoxide killed the wife and he saw his reflection in the windows of himself disfiigured by the accident and as such didn't recognize himself.

or

The guy they had stashed in the trunk finally clawed his way out the backseat to rape and murder the wife.

or

Someone climbed in through the sunroof.
