Might as well. I couldn't get any farther than "down on his luck" on the man/feather bed one.

you've got the "down" part right, just not in the right spot.

and as far as the 9 words from one riddle..

I .. that's your hint ;)

OK, here's another fresh one, if it's too hard I'll add a couple of lines:

I can be holed if that?s your pleasure,
If so, then I can hold your treasure.

hehe that gave it away :D

Sorry, only one guess at it in 25 minutes, so I thought I'd toss out a hint. Maybe I should have used a lesser-known grandmaster ;)

I was thinking along the lines of golf -- the holing the being a hole-in-one, the hole then holding the treasure -- the golf ball to be kept as a memento

Wow, that's not it, but it does fit the riddle. I'm trying to think of some more lines, but this isn't as easy as I thought.

Ok let me reword my riddle so that the 1/16" deep water doesn't work lol

Jimmy was scuba diving and came upon a horse at the bottom on the ocean, but the horse isn't drowning, how is this possible?

Here ya go:

I can be holed if that?s your pleasure,
If so, then I can hold your treasure,
On women I am found in pairs,
I can be seen but no one stares.

Ears to hold the treasure -- earrings.

Well, I was thinking earlobes, but close enough. It's hard to come up with lines about earlobes without giving it away.

Will do. I'll post it after 12:00 Central. I'll take a lunch break as well.
