Riddle for you all

GoingUp

Lifer
A man is watching TV when he sees a disaster on TV that makes him go up stairs and turn the light on and then hang himself. What is his problem and why does he kill himself?

That's pretty ambiguous. I shall summon the power of Google to answer it...

and Google doesn't know the answer. Your riddle is unanswerable

He sees someone looking like his wife becoming a born again Christian, can't really believe it, goes upstairs, finds a letter from her about it, doesn't want to be known as 'the husband of a moronic freak', and kills himself.

You should be put on vacation for that kind of crap. Replace Born Again Christian with black and you would be put on a permanant vacation. I'm pretty tolorant, but that is unacceptable.

This doesn't seem like a riddle but more a guess the correct answer.

But I'll guess...

He saw his wife die on TV and the thought of living without her caused him to hang himself.

Nah, that's too obvious. Where's Blain the Mono when you need him.

I don't know the answer but I think the 'turn the light on' is the key to the riddle. If he were to just go upstairs and hang himself then there would be a billion different answers. I think the light is supposed to limit our options somehow... it's too early on Monday for this type of thought. 😛

He runs the lighthouse, saw a big ship wreck that was caused b/c he forgot to turn on the light.

(googled it)

EDIT - Brutuskend beat me to it

I am trying to make a serious point here.

I point with your agree

errr.... I don't sense any racial slander in those comments other than the person trying to prove a point with

"You should be put on vacation for that kind of crap. Replace Born Again Christian with black and you would be put on a permanant vacation. I'm pretty tolorant, but that is unacceptable."

I could say replace "stick" with "dvck" in the book "This Old Man".

This old man, he played 6. He played knick-knack on my dvck.

Is this what that "Replace born again Christian with black" comment is trying to show? Cuz frankly, you're putting words in his mouth.

No, think about it a little harder... why was the comment made in the first place?

...

Are you joking?

In your example, Stick is not offensive. His original post is HIGHLY offensive. My post was showing how offensive it is. If a comment, like his, were made with reference to blacks, or any other group, that kind of a post would not be tolorated. Yet, somehow, calling a person a moronic freak for being married to a christian is ok. Is it ok to call someone a moronic freak for being married to a black person? Of course not, the mods would be on that like mad. Yet it seems to be ok to call someone a moronic freak for being married to a christian. Add on top of that killing themselves for being married to a christian...
