Rick Perry is out

1 down, 23 more to go! It's surprising that he's out before some of the others though. Then again, this primary is nothing like anything I've ever seen before!

It took Rick Perry this long to grasp the fact that he had no chance in Hell or any other place of getting the nomination???

This gem of a comment was to a conservative blog on the Washington Post website:

Rick Perry is suspending his presidential bid. That's a crying shame after all he's done. Like brought nuclear dumping to West Texas, gutted the Forestry dept and the fire fighting budget during a severe Texas drought, used religion to rationalize unfathomable logic. The list goes on. He will be missed.

But i thought "Rick Perry WILL be the next president"?

Are you really in the race, if you never leave the gate.

Ya, those Harvard MBA glasses worked wonders for making him smarter. Just like Jenny McCarthy on The View.

Touchy subject but nevertheless, because Perry heavily relied on the use of his religious faith to pander to his constituents for his personal gain, I think it fair game to ask him what he thinks this failure of his means from that point of view.

I'd really like to hear from him in this regard.

To be fair, there are 10 other candidates (at least) with no chance in hell who still haven't grasped it. Bobby Jindal has about as much of a chance of getting nominated as Donald Duck.
