Just wondering what a good definition of each was?

Like I know people who have 90HP Civics who deck them out to look fast are ricers but can domestic cars also be ricers?

Also, Ricer killers, high end performance cars such as corvettes and V8 mustangs would be considered killers but what about high end V6s and supped up 4 cylinders?

I think the OP is confused, it's rice BURNERS you're talking about. People who rice out their vehicles are actually making it faster, rice burners just make cosmetic modifications to make it look fast but it isn't actually any faster..

Rice burner is a pejorative describing Japanese-made — or by extension, Asian-made — motorcycles and automobiles.

rice
automobile that has been equipped with gawdy, unnesecary accessories, such as 3' high spoilers, loud and/or repulsive paint job and body work. Owners of such automobiles feel that these accessories make their car the best in the world, when in fact it is not.

rice
Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements. (R.I.C.E.)Parts put on cars to make them look fast, when they have no internal tuning, and are actually slow as hell. Parts usually consist of excessivley angular bodykits, large rear spoilers, neon, sponsor stickers, chrome rims, fake "coffee can" exhaust tips, and loud, annoying paint jobs and/or vynils. Sometimes parts are do-it-yourself installed and are basically duct taped to the car. Most commonly known for being done to Honda Civics, but can also be done to slow domestic vehicles, such as a Chevy Cavalier, etc.

Wonderful, glad that there is no consensus to this considering pictures such as this:
riceburner-24476.jpg
which is under the urbandictionary section of "riceburner"...

The term rice burner relating to vehicles is almost certainly older than fleabag. It has always been a derogatory term for an asian/japanese vehicle as long as I can remember.

fleabag, urban dictionary lists all sorts of contributed definitions, including ones that agree with me.

You said rice was fast.

Rice is not fast.

Can you read?

I daresay it predates the internet.

So what are we suppose to call vehicles from fast and the furious?

Fake.

If you spent any time in the automotive world, you'd learn that the vast majority of economy cars with loud exhausts and neons are garbage, and would easily have their asses handed to them by my 18yo car which is all Toyota stuff on the outside (except exhaust).

I disagree considering that they were cosmetically modified AND were fast.

...seriously?

IT'S A MOVIE.

What's next, I do a double backflip over the hood of my cruiser, making seven head shots on the way over?

They were total hollywood crap that no one with an ounce of sense would own, let alone the "wrong" stuff that was in the movie.

Please oh great one, why don't you enlighten everybody as to what was "wrong" with the movie.. I mean after all, you're involved in the underground illegal street racing world, arentcha? I'm not saying the movie is perfectly accurate, but at the same time, it doesn't feel like it's too much of a stretch for people to have the vehicles the way they had them.

Wrong with the cars? Wrong with the dialogue?

Would both take too long with a regular person, let alone you.

Anyone who knows anything about these movies at all knows all the ridiculous stuff in them about the cars, cars in general, driving, engines, etc., etc...
