Rather than trying to treat girls like actualy human beings, it's better to just humor them and try to not anger them too much. And because girls are completely irrational you can't expect to make them happy very often. Since one day something that makes her happy will the next day piss her off. And lastly remember that girls hate it when their man is happy and not with her. Anything that makes a man happy, his girl must destroy or remove from his life for her to be content.

I say we should never have done that whole sufferage thing, before then women were so much more docile and complacent.

See, the problem is, you're looking at girls. Women are completely different.

Well, most.

bah, more petty arguments...whenever I see couples bicker it really makes me wonder why they are together.

If you're with a girl that argues over petty stuff... dump her. See how quickly she'll come back. Or not.

Last girl I dated, I wish I would've dumped her earlier... prolly would have caused her to rethink some things when she came asking me to take her back. Oh well.

Atleast they care enough to voice their opinion and have a decent conversation than going "yeah, whatever, I don't care what you think so I'm not even going to talk to you about it."

It's those kinds of couples that I wonder why they're together. A healthy relationship has some ups and downs. "Bickering" is part of it. :)

It wouldn't be quite so bad if your tongue wouldn't hang out.

And yes, women do have a tendency towards this.

I think it's a side effect of having breasts.

Viper GTS <-- Only kidding ;)

Yeah, it's not even like a OMG LOOK AT HER, mostly I just say "woah" because the girl is sooooo hot.... but anyways i say 'woah' so softly and when i turn around it's like *WHAM!!* and it's over. lol

Haha, I'd say you deserve it. Don't you know about the secret guys' "whoa"??? Its where you say it in your mind and the position the "whoa" came from is automatcially broadcast telepathically too all other guys in the area.

lol! :) Sort of like multicasting; the signal is sent out to a general group address corresponding to "men only" (you know, like "all routers")

Deeko, beyond what's already been said, I don't have any extra insight to offer, as I don't know anything about your g/f...

Deeko's GF: I've decided to go to that tech school at the hospital!
Deeko: Hahahaha! I don't like that place, only really dumb people go there!
Deeko's GF: So you think I'm dumb? Boohoo!
Deeko: No, it will suit you fine, I don't mind you going there! Actually I love dumb blondes!
Deeko's GF: BOOHOOOO!

If you're a male on this board, I can only assume you were slightly condescending in your dismissal of her idea. Whether or not you said it's stupid or she's stupid is really irrelevant. :p

Good luck. :)

I think she was looking for a bit of support in her decision. It probably stung when you said you don't like tech school.

When was the last time a girl picked a reasonable, mature guy over an a-hole? :)

I'd like to say that tech schools for the most part do, in fact, suck. They're emphasis is on getting you certifed so that you can hopefully get hired. They do NOT try to teach you the fundamentals of the feild you're working in, or any theory, or anything other than the basic practical application that's required to pass the certification test. You hear them advertising on the radio "graduate in 9 months" Now, why are people going to try and "learn computers" in 9 months? Is it beacuse they think they can make an extra $15k/year, or is it because they actaully want to learn about computers? Now take that attitude and apply it to ward thier future job. Yeah, tech school will make some great employees....

Some women may be self-centered and self-absorbed but I am not one of them. I care more about my family and my friends than I do myself. Nothing pleases me more than to see my husband happy regardless of what is making him that way.

I do agree with the statement that you made about one thing making us happy and then the next day it pisses us off. Sometimes that is true. Our reaction to something is affected by our mood when you say it.

Most of them are like that... once in a while I've met a girl who I could actually find enjoyable to talk to... Don't get me wrong, I enjoy girls, but not having a serious conversation with them. In my experience, they just don't seem to get it... and most don't have a sense of humor. THis is all IMO.

EDI: YES I have a girlfriend and yes, this is probably where all of this anger comes from... :)

If you don't mind my asking, how old are you guys?
17

Basically, this is how it went down. She is looking at several 4 year colleges, with a biology or microbiology major. Just now, out of the blue, for no reason, she decides she wants to forget that and look at this 1 year hospital thing, where they teach you to do X-rays, and then they give you a job, and as you work there you learn some of the other low level medical jobs. I tried to be nice about it, I said something like 'well thats not really like what you wanted to do all this time, so don't just forget about college', and then she started getting all pissed, and she asked 'oh well why don't you like tech school' so i told her my honest opinion, that you don't get near as broad of an education, so while sure tech school garuntees you a job, its training for one thing, if it doesn't work out then you are stuck. She was like oh well your going for computer science, thats only one thing...which is ridiculous, CS is very broad...basically this is where she flipped out, she thinks this is so great because somone she knows does it and just graduated, and she is already getting a job for 37K a year, which is frankly no big deal, because thats how much they will make for the rest of their lives....she told me my job isn't so great(circuit city), I pointed out to her that its a high school job, I make over 30K with full benefits, and not even a full high school education.

Basically, she sent me a text message later last night, saying how I'm so horrible for being unsupportive and how she can't help it that she isn't as smart as me and so on and so forth....this morning she sent me another, profusely apologizing and saying that she has no right to get upest with me for not totally agreeing with her and all, and that she is such a horrible girlfriend for doing things like that to me. Hmm...she does things like this all the time, gets really pissed for nothing, and then the next day is at the totally opposite viewpoint. Maybe she should just not get pissed in the first place.

She's got some big emotional and confidence issues that she needs to work out. Good luck. :)

That's a tough person to have a relationship with.

She had a very unstable childhood. I'm really the first stable thing to happen to her, she is so used to people being uncaring that its hard for her to understand that I DO care. Sometimes it is tough...but I really love her, which makes it even tougher, because when she is upset with me and I can't make her NOT upset, it really hurts.

So she called me tonight, to tell me about the open house she went to at the hospital...she's tellin me all this stuff about it, and all this stuff keeps popping into my head about why it would be better if she went to college....I just said things like 'oh yea? thats cool' lol i suppose thats the best way to do it....she also again profusely apologized about last night, she said she can't believe I put up with her when she does things like that, that she doesn't deserve me....just for good measure I said no it was my fault, even though I agree with her that it was hers ;) Ah well...everything is all rectified now I suppose. Until next time....
