By the State Departments own admission we haven't done shit. Well let me modify that, Congress passed additional sanctions and forced Trump to sign it. So what does Trump do? Fail to enforce them.

Part of sanctions was to out Russian oligarchs with ties to Putin who enriched themselves through corruption. Making it tough for Western banks to do business with them Well the list was watered down to just a bunch of rich people which is just the top 96 richest Russians.

And what exactly did the Russians do this time ? Put some tweets on Twitter ? Buy paid adds on Facebook ? How terrible !

The US has lots of problems of their own. Don't blame them on the Russians. Take responsibility. Do something yourself. Don't point the finger at some semi-random outside source. The days of McCarthyism are long gone.

Relax. I'm a real American and I have enough contempt to go around. I can handle having contempt for Comey, Breitbart, Fox News, Bush, the state of Florida, Trump and the Republican party, and the Russians without breaking a sweat. I don't need some third rate hater like you telling me who to point fingers at.
 
At worst trump is a traitor, at best he's neglected to do his job which is to protect the country from invaders, foreign and domestic.

Since this is technically a states issue I hope each state takes precautions to ensure that our elections are safe and secure. I think a paper trail and paper ballots are the way to go with video cameras on the transportation of the ballot boxes and of the counting.

The GOP consistently refuses this method as it provides proof positive that something is amiss. Nobody wants you to catch them with their hands in the cookie jar when they know their hands are in the cookie jar.

Not sure how to interpret this. Are you saying that Russians are finding evidence of American politicians breaking/skirting the law and then publishing it? My POV is that if an American politician is going to do corruption, I really don't care that much who uncovers it as long as it is uncovered. I really don't support allowing any American politician to keep secrets about their own questionable activity.

1st. You should care if only one side gets gets exposed. Analogy, for all the petty crimes most humans being commit on a weekly basis, suppose all of them was documented but only those comitted by blacks was released by wikileaks. They still comitted the crime right? Do I really care how it was uncovered or by what motives? When someone is yanking your chain you always always always always look for the motive.

2nd. Russian psyops is big on entrapment. Take for example uranium one, that could easily be a russian ploy to just throw doubt into the game. You have likely read the report as of late on how they encouraged sailors to break protocol, get some girls, to obtain compromat on them againt to further dig them in, get new compromat, and get to the good stuff down the line.
