I'm just gonna put this out there.

GET READY FOR ANOTHER WAR. It's going to be Iran this time. How can it not be?

You have a secretary of state who was CEO of Exxon. Supposedly our oil reserves are dryin g up. Iran has what we need. Plus, they have weapons of mass destruction!

If I were Iran I would be very concerned.

I really can't see it. Not even the Bushistas were foolish enough to attack Iran & they're stronger today than back then. Their adherence to the deal struck makes justification even more difficult, particularly among our allies. Their business relationships with Iran are growing by leaps & bounds while our Repub Congress prevents American firms from joining in. The Israel lobby holds sway in those circles, obviously.

I hate to say this, but the dubya entourage seem stable compared to drumpf and company. They're mentally unhinged, for the most part, with a soupçon of psychopathy thrown in for good measure.

people like underestimating Trump... what are the odds that he's using this as leverage? I can see two possible scenarios:

1. he agrees to drop Tillerson in exchange for the GOP sweeping aside the investigations into Russian hackers

2. he agrees to support the Russia investigations to assuage the anti-USSR Republicans, in exchange for them confirming Tillerson

Let's not pretend the GOP gives a shit.

I don't think the GOP at large does, but I think McCain and Graham certainly do and would only need to sway one other Senator like Rubio or Paul if Dems are united.

Watch them kiss the sphincter ring. They know what Trump is.

The second case makes sense, but the first one would be too much admission of guilt if Trump were to try it, so I don't think he would.

We have more oil than Saudi Arabia.

Appears rather evident you'll do anything to avoid addressing them.
I generally don't waste much of my time attempting to engage in honest discussion with hacks who have shown themselves to have difficulty distinguishing between reality and fantasy.

Ahahahaa!! No wonder you don't do introspection after being continuously called out for using poor sources or interpreting data wrong.

Hypocrisy, thy name is doc savage fan!

The fact he would trade away the Russian investigation show he doesn't have the country's best interest.

Imagine GWB trading away the 9/11 investigation for tax cuts

BTW - I thought Republicans thought Russia was the enemy. When did they become Putin dick suckers?

LOL

Putting the insiders and elites in the top positions.

Great.

I'm sure these people will be looking out for the interests of the people and the world. I'm mean, these people became billionaires by caring about the people and the world.

Repubs can't turn on Trump. He holds their base in the palm of his hand. The only thing they'll do with a Congressional investigation is try to muddy the waters, lead away from the complicity of the right wing noise machine in serving Putin's ends.

Remember when American right wing propaganda & Russian propaganda were oppositional? Those days are gone. Oligarchs? Plutocrats? What's the difference, right?

What Russian propaganda do you speak of?

The only propaganda I'm hearing is from the CIA and the mainstream media that are reporting it.

Yes Putin is a dictator but so what? Is that any worse than the puppet known as the role of President of the US? Both are corrupt and lie. I'm not saying that they hack or don't hack; the point is that it is a distraction. We have enough of those and the media keeps pushing more and more out there.

I guess it's working because the American gullible population is buying all this garbage.

I heard a caller on a radio show who said that there will be a revolution if Trump does not win. Do you get that? This lady, and many more like her, are OK with people getting hurt or worse if her preferred politician doesn't win. I'm sure it is true on the other side as well. People are OK with harming each other over some stranger they've never met.

Propaganda works on both sides. It's called modern politics - a process where the biggest liars and manipulators are rewarded by the gullible sheep.

Please. There will be an orderly transition of power to our new President. Libs will not deny the principles of our democracy just because we lost an election. Accusations to the contrary are scurrilous. We believe in the govt of the people.

Folks on the other side have been frothed up more and more over the last couple of decades & have armed themselves accordingly. OTOH, they love to talk trash, too, so I don't think much of their foolish threats.

Yeah, that total fantasy land where only welfare queens get gubmint money, and not the reality where half the US budget is doing hell of a job "defending" merica by bombing some brown scapegoats back to the stone age.

But go ahead and keep believing those alt-right recruiters' compliments of your mental acuity.

I can't even look at that guy without cringing.

A poster child for what the GOP thinks of science, not to mention governance. Jim Inhofe is an embarrassment. Looks like thanks to Trump he's going to have a lot more like minded friends in D.C too. This planet is so screwed.
Mr. Snowball Inhofe is a mass killer of innocent animals too:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWmokbb6twM&t=316s

These guys claim to be Christian and call themselves moral, decent human beings. And the voters who vote for these killers think they are also good Christians who are voting for other good Christians.

In what world does a religious person (like these people claim to be) gleefully kill innocent animals for pleasure and profit (fundraising)?

Yes, what a world.

Nah man, you ain't read Genesis, animals are our collective property. It's there in the Good Book.
