I cant really time it but its not instant. either way its not enough to affect gameplay, not a twitch game by any means. seeing as how I never had any lag problems with the sixaxis, I wonder why others are? from that one youtube video it is pretty apparent.

Anyway, I guess thats all I can say about Lair. I don't think this is a must have, but if you were really jonesing for this game, you should definitely at least rent it or pick it up or something.

I noticed the little delay in the video above. I mean it still looks cool, but this delay w/this technology really bugs me big time. I mean that is one of my biggest gripes w/the wiimote is the lag from my movement to it actually happening, regardless that it's a split second. That delay to me since I'm picky and just have been around the block w/games, really bugs the hell out of me.

The delay on the Wiimote is very, very slight, maybe 25ms - definitely no more than your average wireless mouse, although it depends somewhat on the game. Its as good as it gets in the Wii menu.

If its noticible enough to be bothersome, you're probably experiencing HDTV lag on top of the wireless lag, or youre just exceptionally sensitive to it. I refuse to use wireless mice for FPSing, so I know a lag when I see one - but I've no problem with the wiimote lag. Its certainly nowhere near as bad as the Lair controls, even the updated ones from the youtube video - that would drive me insane.

G4/xplay gave it a 2/5. Almost totally based on the control structure. On the good side, they didn't give it a 1 cause it wasn't actually broken :)

Yeah the controls for Metroid Prime 3 are instant. I don't notice any lag at all.

If the sensitivity is as "good as it can get" on the Wii menu, then I'm glad I didn't get one. I don't know about you, but the lag is easily noticeable. Drove me nuts when I tried it out.

Like BD2003 said, you're probably experiencing HDTV lag if it's noticeable. Either that or there is some lag between your eyes and your brain.

How does HDTV lag affect SD TV's? I've played the Wii on both. They have the same lag. And no, there is no lag between my eyes and my brain. I have superb reaction times.
