LoKe, just man up and admit you used the template. There is nothing wrong with it if you admit it.

I have no problem admitting using templates. If I did use one, I'd admit it. Actually, I've used a few in the past.

The reason I'm putting up a fight is because I don't like people to consider me a thief. I'm competent enough in HTML and CSS to design my own pages and would like credit for my work. I could care less if it was posted on that website; if others make use of something I created, cool. Perhaps in the future I'll create a new layout and update you all on my progress each portion at a time.
Just remember - work smart, not hard 🙂

Why reinvent the wheel when it's available for public use? 😕

Here's the other reason I would be suspicious that they stole the template from you.

On OSWD the entire thing is done in blue. Not a single shade of green shows up. All of a sudden your template has the exact same colors, except there is green there, which looks completely out of place. Also, why would you have links to CSS / HTML validation in your footer?

wow, ATOT never ceases to amaze me 😛

Loke... you got pwned. It's not even a big deal had you admitted it, but you're staying way to shady on the details to sound convincing at all.

I leave that link on all of my pages. I like my stuff to validate.

I started working on this template on my apache server, which has been running for a couple years now. The design was started on November 7th, the day after my brithday. I had not made it "officially" public until Devious came along with his hosting. 🙂

Yeah, the blue looks better than the green. Why would I steal a template then make the colours ugly? Ever consider the possibility that "she" realized it didn't match, and decided to change it?

I haven't looked at it, but you could do a "Project Tattletail" where guests tell you bad things they've done and then you call everyone they know to rat them out.
