Revealed: All-new Nissan 370Z

looks good. very reminiscent of the old z's. yet another blast from the past kinda makes me wonder if modern artists (cars, music, you name it) are capable of any original ideas.

The new model is expected to be somewhat shorter and trimmer than the current car, accentuating the flared wheel-arches and short overhangs even further. Also new is the rear quarter panel area around the hatch, where the window line sweeps upward, giving the car a bit of a familial resemblance to the sword-like design
of the GT-R.

oh, really?

Don't care for the headlights, but I like the rest of it better than the current model. The HP bump is the most welcome addition though. The current Z is pretty sterile performance wise compared to its past incarnations.

^^ Total truth. Hopefully they will also offer at least a couple of different levels of performance this time as well. The 350Z was sort of a sad piece of the Z car legacy.

Man some misleading info in that piece.

They aren't going to be offering any kind of DSG, you can get an automatic with paddle shifters and 350hp? No chance.

The Z concept was more of one the owner would end up customizing.

There are a ton of extremely fast ones down here.

I'm liking the look other the headlights...same as on the new maxima...but I have to say they do not bother me here as much...maybe it is more tastefully done here or I'm already getting used to the look. I hope they have reduced the weight along with the size

They probably want to keep the cost down. Cost is what killed the 300Z.

Give me a traditional manual gearbox anyway. You can keep your flappy paddle gearbox, I'm not interested.

Is it going to have that big rear strut brace still?
Also, can you get a hitch for it so i can put my bike rack on?

I want a roof rack. What's the towing capability of this car anyway? Also, do they offer it with a 15" wheel option for those of us who don't want to spend $1,500 everytime we wear out a set of rubber?

^^

This is why we need a 2009 250SX, ~2950lbs, RWD, 220HP, $19k.

Those headlights are butt ugly. Worse than the Acura grill, IMO, and that's pretty bad. But if they keep the price the same and offer that new engine, it will be a fantastic performance bargain.

It sounds like you want an SUV. 😛

I like the new look, except for the door handles which I've mentioned before.

Have to see what kind of numbers is really puts down.

I believe the 'verts will be even uglier and "bigger-assed" then before however. Everytime I see one I just shake my head.
